After furiously refreshing to catch it as soon as it was updated, I managed to get my answer in fast enough to finally snag a gold Mystery Pic trophy! Young me would be ecstatic

Hah, I even thought of morphing into a Kougra as cats and dogs don't mix, but the Chia never crossed my mind! Possibly because it's one of the species I find genuinely ugly as sin!! Hah! It's fine! They're overgrown train tracks!! No train due in the next decade or so!! I think I've decided on an elderly petpet as a petpet nanny. Those two are my current favourites!!

So, as I now have a frankly ridiculous collection of baby items for someone who does not have any baby pets at all (go figure)! I took the plunge, morphed my adopted Gelert named Cynophobia_ into a Lupe, painted him baby and now I have my first baby pet. Now to start transferring NC baby items over to the right account... And I really need to stop spending both np and NC right about now!!!

I have to say, my eventual list of baby cap items is rather ridiculous. Plus a few extras from the five I opened after promising not to open anymore!! - Baby in an Easter Basket Background - Dyeworks Pink: Baby Wading Pool ~ Baby Giant Moach - Dyeworks Lavender: Baby in a Pumpkin And that doesn’t include the bath items that don’t have ‘baby’ in them... I may have gotten obsessed...

Wow! They hit it out of the park with these two! This artist is doing stunning work Like @Secre I hadn't really liked any previous Vandagyre colours, but now? I'm seriously thinking about adopting one just for that beautiful desert colour

Allow current you to be ecstatic too! I've recently got into the mystery pic after a fellow ninja on the board motivated us all to do it. I now have a silver trophy which I'm thrilled about, I doubt like heck that I'll ever upgrade it to gold, but you never know... The week before last's pic was easy, maybe, when they use the rubbish dump yet again, I might be in with a chance as I'll recognise it with more confidence and just input my answer straight away...

@CoconutDragon Thanks!! I was tempted to paint my Gelert baby, but I really don’t like the pale yellow. I love the pose of the Gelert but the colour just does nothing for me. A pity as a few of the babies are exactly the same shade! As Cynophobia means fear of dogs, I wanted to keep him in dog form. So the very cute (and blue) Lupe seemed perfect! The pumpkin ended up much larger in the custom than when I was playing on DTI which was disappointing. So the final result currently:

don't we have a tyrannian pteri? i could have sworn... yeah! its not my favourite tyrannian pet, a bit too airbrushed for my liking, but its better than this $5 cousin itt cosplay. i like the outfit concept in theory, but... something about that extremely detailed fur on top of a very plainly-texture paint job is just tipping it straight into the uncanny valley. i imagine that the clothing could be used well with the right paint job, but the wig and facial hair are, i think, best resigned to the rag heap. the sponge paint job is pretty cute, no complaints there. it does look like cheese! but that's true of all the other yellow sponges, and the art style itself perfect, just the right amount of detail with nice crisp lines and a good colour palette.

And you were right - it took rather a lot of patience and practice but I managed. I've been trying Extreme Herder today... my top score is 192 so far... I swear those petpets are frankly suicidal!!

Well, the Feed Florg avatar is almost achievement enough, but I might just be in line for a trophy!! Heck, I'll happily take bronze!!
