kacheekkawaii Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 i was thinking.... 聽 it's like the neopets world is a different country or a different world, don't you think? with it's timezone for instance: it's 1:56 pm nst right now *or whatever time or day it is when anyone replies :3 * while in reality, it's 9:57 pm right now, where i am :3 聽 聽 Quote

Sciurus carolinensis Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 Neopets is 3 hours earlier than me, which makes NST the same time as Pacific Standard Time.聽It's easy to remember when not to call my grandparents in California. All I have to do to know what time it is there is to pull up the Neopets site. Quote
berriganify Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 i actually live in the same timezone as neopets operates in! makes remembering things like the snowager super simple. Edit: although i do actually know the feeling of having to manage timezone differences in games. another game i play uses utc, which means that the midnight reset lands at 4 pm here, or 5 pm in the summer. maddening. The midnight reset works quite well for me as depending on daylight savings, it's 8 or 9 hours behind me. So the reset time is almost exactly when I sit down at my work computer! Quote
Angel贸 Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 聽midnight nst is 10 AM for me (the next day) im usually at work at this time Quote
MysteryAF Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 It's pretty easy for me to remember, as it's only 2 hours behind for me. 2 AM is at midnight NST for me. Quote
