All weekend Neopians have been voting for the newest paint brush to enter Neopia and the results are finally in. DRUM ROLL PLEASE!

Where can you get these new brushes?

typically any new Paint Brushes come through Nerkmids which are random results and only certain nerks have higher chances of giving PBs?

 

they've never sold them in regular shops but certain ones can be found in the Hidden Tower in Faerieland at http://www.neopets.com/faerieland/hiddentower938.phtml or from the Wheel of Extortion at http://www.neopets.com/desert/extravagance.phtml it's the paint brush spoke

 

and there's a random event too (Jacko the Phantom Painter or A beautiful Fire Faerie though Jacko is more rarer than the Fire Faerie but she can give Petpet PBs too)

 

and when/if World Challenges comes back, converting pieces of a full map can potentially give PBs

 

 

the only other ways to get those colors are the Lab ray and Fountain Faerie Quests if TNT decides to add them as options (they most likely will) or wait years until they make species specific Morphing Potions or Magical Plushies

I've spent hundreds of nerks and honestly, in my experience, there's no link between pb winning and type of nerk. I've won Darigan and Pastel off the cheapest ones and Gross Food off the most expensive.

The most soul-destroying is when after thirty nerks you win a PB -- and it's a paintbrush stencil or collectable card showing a PB, total value 200-8000np. Meep.

Where the heck was this announced?  My daughter has been anxiously awaiting the announcement and each day she'd come home from school and we couldn't seem to see it anywhere.  I am pleased candy won, though.  That was my vote.

I voted for Floral cos Candy looked terribly loud to me...so not happy with this result. Maybe it will be toned down.

Actually, I like it much :) It looks cute, but not overwhelmingly cute, I don't feel the sugar implosion while looking at it

And I liked both other PBs as well, even the marble one :) the flowar, though, looked a bit too similar to maraquan for it's spongey-algae look.

 

Let's see other pets in this candy look!

And oh - the PB itself is cool.
