Cool prizes, but I'm a little disappointed that there's no avatar. Or a stamp. Am I the only one? I liked the bonus prize for the parchments: Lost Desert Palace View Background (I don't know how to post a picture in the comments).

The Lost Desert Palace View Background was for the NC part of the event completed by studying the daily parchment prizes with the Hieroglyphic Dictionary from the NC mall.

Not again. *sigh* I'm starting to think that it's arbitrary what TNT gives out and to who they give it. I was there for every day of it, had talked to everyone as politely as possible and was within a few minutes of midnight when the new clues were given out. Solved it within a couple hours of the request for the answer... and just like in the Spooky Food Contest, I miss out on the bonuses. I don't get it.

 

Not that I'm unhappy with the basic six items (shown in Dorkitty's post). I'm a plushie collector and I love the wearables. :)

As far as I know, no bonuses for the regular part. If I knew how to post the picture I would (any help?) I don't think anyone missed out on anything, unless you didn't do the NC part.

Yay!! Glad to see I got my answer right. I was also hoping for an avatar or trophy or something. The prizes are OK...eh. I do like getting new books!

 

 

Edit: I didn't get the staff...that was for guessing the right answer the first day it was available I guess.

Got all the prizes, except for the background, because I didn't do the NC part. I'm quite happy with this, but I thought that we will get a better prize, like a trophy, or an avatar.

There's no bonus prize for getting each clue on the correct day.

Guess I shouldn't be surprised - the prizes were pretty bland. Nothing particularly special about any of them. Much like anything else from the rest of this "event"

I also got everything except for the NC prize and I got one clue the day after it was released. I'm happy that it didn't matter :)

I liked this event, maybe a bit too long but i'd rather this than the AC which is also too long and unbelievably rigged. Prizes are nothing special but not complaining :)

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed as well. Probably the first time I've been around to actually see a plot or event through (just started playing neo a few weeks ago.) Was hoping to get a site trophy more than anything. O well... :-/

It does seem a shame that there was no memo of the event : site theme avatar or trophie ... I dont really understand why they give out so few of these when people clearly enjoy collecting them as a memo of taking part in things like this.

 

Why not give out more?? Im not saying they should give out avatars all over the place but a few here and there would be great for regulars on the site and an encouragement to stick around and check what is happening on the site regularly, I do worry for the long term viability of neopets sometimes, here we are solving the clues given to us but I wonder if they are missing the clues that WE are giving to them :sad01_anim:

I think the prizes are pretty fitting for what the event was ^^ There wasn't a whole lot to do besides 2-3 clicks per day until all the clues were out, and it was one puzzle to solve after that. They could've given out an avatar or site theme, but I think this wasn't nearly as involved as the other events that have gone on. In terms of length, I don't think there's another way they could have really done it without releasing all the clues at once since you need a lot of clues to solve a logic puzzle that big. Separate prizes for those who got the puzzle right and for those who answered quickly, so the bases were covered when it came to how to award items.

We think the Tonic and Staff were awarded to those who completed the puzzle earlier, unfortunately ): If you submitted on the last day, you would not have gotten them.

I was disappointed that they asked only about one theft. I would have wanted them to ask about all of the them (and maybe also to make the event longer).
