He never plays any safeties in a single-arena system, even though today he thought another pirate was close to 2:1 there. My analysis (based on Stripey's opening, not even factoring in Hugo's analysis) revealed that betting on Stripey combined with either Ned or Bonnie in Hidden Cove had a higher expected value than most bets with Edmund, even though Edmund was favored, so I forewent two booster bets for the two safeties. Thanks to Dr. Sloths Personal Bath Buddy, Randomly Firing Freeze Ray, Lens Flare, Warlock's Rage, and An Icicle, I was able to get enough free turns, lucky enough for her not to use her Scorchstone, and be left with 100+ HP.
