Let us know if it works, although since @kjl is using Chrome, I don't think this is a browser issue.

It actually didn't work with Chrome — still stuck on the quest unable to cancel. The green button comes up but doesn't respond to anything. Not sure why it's happening, but a similar error has been occurring lately with selecting Battledome of the Obelisk guilds, although that can be worked around by changing the page zoom level…

Ah well, I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and fork out for the quest items.

If you're in to viewing Reddit, I highly recommend TheJayeless or twoforjoy. They both usually post super safe bets where their goal is to simply win 20:10+ without much risk. It's great for people who are just starting out or don't wish to lose a lot to start with.

If/when you get more comfortable, and want to add more risk for more of a payout, there are a lot of other users who post their bets and thought processes in the thread as well. I also recommond jkRollingDown for reasonable bets and if you want to jack up the risk for super high payouts, try Middyne and/or Moonsome.

If the odds are utter trash, a lot of users post "dutch" bets where you can sorta force a small win as well. They're all so awesome over there!!!

    I definitely second this.

Was previously using Garet's bets and although they net a decent payout, it's nice being able to choose from a range of sets with the probabilities available for comparison. Seeing the raw numbers over a scrawl of betting jargon is definitely a plus for me. The thread also uses a really clever script to populate sets into a table so you can just click through them without manually adjusting the dropdown buttons.

I just died on Insane mode

I was about to fight Ramtor for the second time, but the random enemies in that tower were too fast and ganged up on me. It could've been a lot worse though. Hopefully I'll do better next time.

Rough. Better luck next time. I've spent too long on my current play-through and am definitely taking the slow and steady approach, just about to reach level 39 and fight The Revenant.

Any opinions on which is the better out of these two weapons?

    rampaging greatsword
    - Stunning Strikes: +3
    - Battle Taunt: +3
    - Critical Attacks: -2
      Sword
    (dmg 53)
    Equip Rohane
    thundering longsword
    - Stunning Strikes: +2
    - Combat Focus: +2
      Sword
    (dmg 45)
    Equipped by Rohane
    Unequip

I prefer Critical Attacks to Stunning Strikes, but am wondering what difference 8 damage makes…

I went all right down the path and I received the same message about not being quick enough :o

I went right three times as well, and apparently that's complete for now. Back to battling wraiths, but I'm sure everyone will have hit their point limit for the first two by now.

I have been away from Neopets for a long long LONG time - so I was hoping to get some advice on weapons and such.

Is there anything that is nerfed that I should look to replace ASAP.  What is my next big upgrade that I should be actively working towards?  General Thoughts/Suggestions?

    Current Items:

    Elephante Unguent

    Garoo Elite Blaster

    Downsize

    H4000 Helmet

    Honey Potion

    Psellias Fighting Fan

I'm in the same boat, coming back to a bunch of outdated weapons. Got quite a surprise to see some items I'd paid a fair bit for have now been completely outclassed by site feature prizes. @balloongal247 and @jellysundae pointed out some cheap 14 icon constants, which would be an improvement on your 9 icon Garoo Elite Blaster and 11 icon Psellias Fighting Fan. Also like @Duma mentioned, Honey Potion only does slightly more on average than these 14 icon constants would, so it's probably best to let that go.

Another bomb you could look at is the newly released Thistleberry Pingrenade, which averages 18.5 icons for around 300k. Not as powerful as Jhudoras Potion or Ghostkerbomb, but offers much more value. Nothing to critique about that healer and freezer though.

Neoquest II guru here.  Did you have a question you needed answered? I gave up on Neoquest, but I play Neoquest II over and over again.  I have gotten through every mode already and normal and evil a few times, as you can only play InSaNe once.

Nice. I've enjoyed it in the past but it gets left behind when take breaks from the site as you can see from my stats, haha…

You are currently playing on InSaNe! difficulty.

Your Normal difficulty best time: 708 days, 8 hours, 11 minutes, 49 seconds.
Your Evil difficulty best time: 2994 days, 7 hours, 17 minutes, 15 seconds.

Just want to make sure I make it through Insane in one go! Anything you did particularly differently near the end in terms of strategy or skills? I'm using the JellyNeo maps and this old guide for skills:

Yeah, I think I used to keep a few of the strongest slowing potions on hand, and used them on bosses if I remembered and felt I needed to.  Not worth it for lower battles though, only if there are enough turns where the slowing compensates for the lost turn.

Same here. Once you get Velm, potions aren't really necessary outside of boss fights. Always best to keep a couple of resurrection and high level slowing potions on you though.

It's not as powerful as it was before they nerfed it. I suppose I just thought of the weapons as decent prizes rather than pointless rubbish. I didn't consider them being too much for a plot's first prizes.

True, that does put a positive spin on it! It felt weird replacing my old Honey Potion and Brynns Legendary Sword of Wraith Smithing with items I didn't really have to do anything to get though. I guess it was time!
