Mine are in the lodge, now, can I use my disease as an excuse... :shiftyeyes_anim: See I have MS, and I've got pretty significant cognitive problems, one of them being a short term memory which is fried to hell and back, so I consistently forget to feed my pets. I absolutely don't LIKE putting them in the lodge, but I like finding them famished even less!
 
I keep them in either the mountain lodge or ye olde ship inn, the more expensive places don't appeal much. Generally the mountain lodge though, because the locale appeals the most to me, they'll enjoy all that outside space. They get all the extras apart from the burger bar, lol. No unhealthy food for you guys! :woot:

What everyone is saying is correct! You're items in the shop aren't really high demand, they're more like items a collector would search for and the dubloon's will most likely be the first items to go as they can be used for training in the Pirate Academy of spent at the Dubloon Shop.
 
However your prices are WAY LOW (and a few a bit high) and I would hate to see you jipped or have someone buy off you and just turn around and sell for a profit. If you want to sell your items but ensure they're going to someone who WANTS them and won't re-sell them I would only go a little bit under the Jellyneo Database listed price, so if I were listing these items in my shop this is around what I'd price them; 
 
The Snowager - Between 24,000-25,000 Yellow Sticky Hand - I'd stay right at 170, no lower, no higher. Two Dubloon Coin - That's exactly what I would have price it! Sometimes If I want something to go faster I'll go down 1 np and bring it down to 399. The human mind doesn't necessarily comprehend a price as a whole, so when someone sees the 3, they jump at it as a steal. My mother had these crafts that she made and sold for $10 and when reading this theory online somewhere she marked them as $9.99 and she sold WAY more surprisingly. I will never understand this. One Hundred Dubloon Coin - I would go somewhere between 17k-17.8k Wooden Snowflake Scultpure - Seems like a good price where it's at, maybe jump it up another 500 np just to appeal more to collectors than to re-sellers. :) Kayla Pen - I would definitely bring this one up more, somewhere between 16.5k-17.5k Wock Till You Drop Speaker - Between 15k-16k Icy Decorated Tree - This one seems pretty good, but maybe add another 500 np? Tapira - Perfect Price :D Biscuit Chair - This one seems good too! Coltzan Negg - These are actually only worth 100 np, these might sell better if you went down to exactly 100np each. Peophin-shaped Souffle - I would go up between 12k-13.5k on this one Earth Faerie Wing - These are marked WAY low actually under 17k lower than what they're worth. I would definitely go between 40k-45k and that would still be pretty low, they're valued at 49.5k Wind Up Faerie Xweetok - These are actually valued at 200 NP and I would just bump it up to that exact price, just because 200 np is so cheap to begin with. Red Stapler - I would mark this between 25k-28k Purple Lipstick - This is WAY low as it's value is 55.5k, I would go somewhere between 49k-53k  
 
The way I price my shop is to go just under the price of expensive items (a couple K here and there), if it's between 5k-15k I either do the exact price or go a tiny bit under, usually not too much under 1k and if it'es between 1np-5k I do the exact price that is in the jellyneo database.
 
The highest amount of np's you can charge in shops is 99,999 and after that I just kinda price on value weather that's a bit under Jellyneo's price, right at it, or over, depends on the item. 
 
Remember raising the price on these items are not the reason they aren't getting bought, they're just not items that are HIGH DEMAND as everyone has stated. Even following my price guideline they're still lower. I usually sell my items quickly as I try to go a tiny bit under what they're worth, making my item the cheapest on Shop Wiz and the first to go when people are looking for it :)

Yes, I should have started a new line when I started a new sentence after the wishlist link, because it looked at the space between the two as an extra 'character' in the link.  My fault, but it's fixed now!  Thank you for the keyrings (on her behalf, she's still asleep but when she gets up I know she'll be excited) and I'll let her know.  I'll ask her about the AC, too.

Does your daughter have anything she'd like? A wishlist maybe?

Those offers are usually lower than others. A reseller isn't going to pay full price for an item just to resell it, since they won't make any profit. Sometimes they offer low, hoping that the seller will be frustrated enough with trying to sell that they'll accept the offer. People who say "No resellers" indicate that they are not going to consider these low offers.
 
Collectors are a little different, and honestly I've never seen a "no collectors" qualification. I'm guessing it may be because many people WILL provide a discount to collectors. Collectors are usually looking for a specific item and there may be many people selling that item, and some people would rather sell to a collector for 90% of the price because it makes them feel good that they're helping another Neopian complete their collection - while selling to a reseller for 90% doesn't feel good. Somebody who says "no collectors" is probably just implying they won't provide a discount to collectors and they don't want to hear sob stories about collectors in an attempt to lower the price. I would guess if you offered full price on that lot, even if you plan to use it in your collection, that offer would be accepted.
 

I disagree with this. The auctions are not as easy of a transaction process as the TP. What people really want is a place to sell those items for pure NP like a shop, but because of the price limit on shops, that can't be done. On the TP, you can list an item for 2 weeks, but you can accept a trade at any time during those two weeks and sell your item. If you want your item to appear that long on the auction, any buyers would have to wait until the end of the 2 weeks to receive their item. As you all have expressed, people don't want to wait more than a day once they've decided to buy something, so 2 weeks would be quite awhile. Plus, people don't check the auctions frequently, so if somebody's looking to buy they're probably looking on the TP, not the auctions, making auctions a tough place to sell your items. Furthermore, as you all have shown, many times sellers won't truly know the price of the items they are selling. They don't want to set a price on the auctions that's super low, as many buyers won't see it and then they'll miss out on profit. On the other hand, if they set a high price, they might not have buyers. TP allows them to adjust the price as they see fit.
 
Sellers on the TP have the prerogative to sell for whatever they want. If that means pure NP, then that means pure NP. (Well, it really means pure NP plus a junk item, but that's kind of splitting hairs.)
 
My suggestion is to not interpret that "I'm looking for pure" as terse. It could be said in a nice tone as well. I often sell for just pure and when someone offers items, I aim to nicely let them know that I'm only interested in pure NP. (Although I usually include that in the wishlist so they know.)
 

It's not always true, but this is generally an indication to me that the seller doesn't really know the worth of the item or what they're trying to get for it. They want to see what offers they receive and then set a price. I generally try lowballing them and see what they say. Sometimes they come back with how much they're thinking of, and often we can reach a price in the middle. Sometimes it doesn't work, and then it's best to try a different seller.

"Greed"/Inflation can be really bad. Though I would guess that they ARE hoping someone will come along, not know what something is worth, and then shell out MORE np than an item really should cost.. At least that's my thought on people who just sit there and don't communicate.
 
I've been ignored just for ASKING a price or price range because my NM didn't include an offer. Sometimes I offer, but on an item where there's no price data on the TP or in item databases, it's pretty much a given that ASKING would be necessary. ESPECIALLY if they don't have anything listed for what they want.
 
Auction advertisements demanding "Pure" on the TP are also frustrating imo. It's called a TRADING Post for a reason, you trade items AND NP. The way I see it after getting nowhere with most of my NMs over the years, is if they want pure, they should set up an auction and advertise, on their ULU, or on the neoboards. Or heck, even on fansite forums. I get ignored with offers of Items, or if they do reply, generally it's a terse "I'm looking for pure".
 
Now, that's been my experience a good portion of the time. However, I HAVE traded with some very nice Neopians who DID reply. If they are kind about what they are looking for, and I can either haggle or supply their desired item, sometimes I'll throw in a small bonus item, or offer battle or game advice, if it's something I know something about. Just out of gratitude. A little kindness can go a long way.
 
But back onto inflation, it can be insane. A new stamp or book comes from an event, and suddenly some people go nuts and ask for millions, I DID see that on the TP for some of the AC prizes this year. Or during the Daily Dare, or whenever. People know that books and stamps from events are finite, there are only so many of them, and then they'll be gone forever once they're all used. So people try to get what they can for them NOW instead of later. While the prices of many items do tend to settle after a while. That initial rush, to get something sold before the supply increases, by users logging on and claiming those prizes themselves if they've earned them, well that's also Supply and Demand. I get it, I don't necessarily LIKE it, because I think the asking prices have WAY too high in a number of cases.
For example, it took me years to Secure a Peophin Bubble for my collection. I forget what I traded and paid for it. Even back when I was playing and started collecting, it's price was over 400k just because it was an r99, even though it's attack is fairly weak and useless. Rarity too, tends to go into the whole price-thing. Full Peophin Armour, I again forget what I traded and how much NP I paid. It WAS going between 1-3 mil. I got lucky and I think my payment was in the 1 mil range, counting item-value too. I THINK I had a paintbrush from a world challenge that was the bulk of that trade offer.
 
Just a couple of examples.
Frankly, though I don't know the difference, but I don't see why someone would say no "reseller" or "no collector offers". I think whatever you'd consider from a collector, should be the same consideration for a reseller. Unless the seller is motivated to sell. lol Then they might take the quickest offer that might be closest to what they want. That being said, I HAVE seen some advertise discounts for one or the other. But those seem fewer than most.

Midnight I feel you! I'm NEVER going to become a trader, that's for sure! It's too much of a minefield.

I am totally out of my league (just entering high school this Fall) but I can offer prayers at my iftar (breaking fast time) before I eat my dates as Ramadan is coming to a close, it is said that the prayer of a fasting servant is always answered by God. So God-willing, that could be my positive contribution to your difficult procedure. I will ask God to give you health that heals and peace for your procedure, ameen (may God make it so). 

Especially for old accounts, Food Club is great. The time commitment is really low, and the payoff is pretty good. My overall return is about 1.84. I've earned millions of NP this way over the years. It's pretty much my main source of income.

If you can save up for a Cursed Elixir, then it makes battling the S750 Kreludan Defender Robot super easy! They cost 59,000 NP, but after a few days you will have already earned that back through Codestones and Neocola Tokens! What's also great about that is you don't have to constantly heal your pet, and you can literally do it without training your pet!

I've had a long history of migraines with no apparent cause (I've had them for over 20 years now) and I've done a fair number of MRIs (And CAT scans, etc)
 
I remember specifically one when they had me bring in my own CD and they played it over speakers that I could hear inside the machine. They also allowed my mom to sit in the room with me and she sat down by my feet and just kept a hand on my leg so I'd know she was there. Those things both helped me, though I wasn't claustrophobic, I was pretty young at the time, so keeping me still and stopping me from freaking out was important. (I was probably about 7-9 at the time)
 
My last MRI was when I was 15 and that was a contrast one, as well as having my head immobilized in some sort of setup. By then, I had learned some biofeedback methods to see if that helped with my migraines, so I used those to distract myself. They were mostly mental exercises to keep my mind and body relaxed. My favorite was always picking a favorite place and just focusing on the details, like what you'd see, smell, feel, hear there. The more details I focused on, the more absorbed in that I would get. I used that one for my migraines the most. I still do it now, actually.
