Oh! That's interesting. But then, just because two dogs are together in a space doesn't mean they have to interact does it, or even like each other. I suppose I sort of expected that to be a thing that happens, but we certainly don't behave like that, do we. Put two people in a space together and they generally don't even want to make eye contact with the other person in case they turn out to be a total weirdo, or ready to bore the pants off you with their life story. Maybe that's the issue with Bear! Kai doesn't wanna hear any more tales about your MIL.

I know there's two that are very similar, and I think this is the better one of the two, but I'm wondering how old it is... the modesty of the setting makes me feel it's a pretty early wearable. *checks* September 2007, there we go. These items, which are shamelessly using all the furniture out of the b/g I used (though resized to make your pet look like a giant), came out a year later and were only available from a Burger King virtual prize code. I'd have been SO underwhelmed upon receiving either of these as a prize. xD Interesting that the one with two windows is from a US promotion, while the one with only one is Canadian. I dunno whether to feel annoyed, or reassured, to realise that TNT have always been pulling cheap stunts like this. They did it with one of the backgrounds in this past advent calendar didn't they, the "underground" Kiko Lake b/g that's a zoomed in crop of an existing NC b/g. We had things to say about that at the time, but it was just JS learning from TNT of old it would seem. I'm gonna add some chimes! Just because it's totally the kind of thing I'd have. I know they're a bit lost there really, but they're cute, and they increase the visual depth of the space, this room at the front is giving me sunroom vibes now.

I've found a background that works with the flatly-drawn Advent Calendar fireplace! I'm stoked! I'm doubly pleased about this because it's a background that I'm pretty sure just about no-one uses because it's kinda rubbish xD I'm aware the arch really doesn't fit the aesthetic of the room, but hey, let's not get judgey about other people's decorating choices. xD Think of Berry as living in a rented house - a small Victorian terrace by the look of it - that got some dubious structural changes made in the 70s and hasn't been re-decorated since, lol. I really like the cosy vibe though. But mostly I just LOVE how that nice red bowl on the mantel is actually the top of a big vase. xD The fireplace actually works some magic and makes the room look a LOT wider, check it out. vs. Handily hiding that lack of maintenance too! xD Yep, this is def rented property xD I do wish that arch wasn't so very 70s, but I do love how it creates two separate spaces, though the bottom of it argues with pretty much any lower foreground item. These plant stands are pretending they have legs there, when it's actually the arch showing below them, lol. But yep, I'm very pleased with the cute home Berry now has. Now I'll leave her to curl up on that very comfy-looking sofa and drink her hot chocolate.

This is another Candy pet that looks more like a Marble one, isn't it. Candy, as a paintbrush, has totally failed to live up to our expectations.
