I learnt recently that new items aren't visible to the hoi polloi straight away, there's some (to my mind utterly pointless) feature you can pay for that lets you have access to items on their release day. hmm, that's an imprecise way of putting it! I think if you have bought over X amount of NC the previous month you then get to swank about in the new items a few days before anyone else can see them. Let me refresh my memory! *researches* Aha! Still think it's utterly pointless mind. xD

I see on JN that there's some new autumn stuff out too! Time to buy some more NC me thinks... This looks LOVELY, and it's not in a capsule which is GREAT! Hmm, not quite so keen now I see it larger as I don't like the grey stuff, but that can be minimised with a foreground item. I haven't looked on the boards to see the reaction to this, I hope the majority are liking the colour and not ranting about the sudden switch from marbles to actual marble. Just that pet, not a reuseable on any pet of yours thing. So in the end, after spending a gazillion or so NP, you could cycle through every single paint brush option depending on your customisation whims. Anyways, back on topic! ... Some time later. So far I've not managed to come up with a look that works for me, though I've been going at it pretty indiscriminately so it's maybe not surprising.

Haha, it's the fleshy tone of it that does is, isn't it. If that was a bold primary colour I don't think it would look anywhere near so disturbing, but any shade that could be human flesh ups the creep-out factor exponentially, also the fact that it looks so... squishy.
