You can obtain them by achieving certain scores on flash games, refreshing certain pages, collecting certain items, or just flat out clicking on certain links. If you ever find yourself on a faerie quest (which happen randomly here and there, you'll know when you're on one when a random event appears with a faerie asking you for an item) you can use this website to more easily find the item you're searching for.  http://www.neopets.com/~metallica666777
 
A great daily for collecting neopoints (when you can actually find something) is the Forgotten shore, you'll need to find all the map pieces to visit it each day, however, if you'd like I have like 10-15 complete map sets just sitting in my Safety Deposit box (also known as; SDB) if you would like one!

That dress is so pretty! I'd consider entering this round for a chance at that dress, but I have no baby neopets and I don't think it would fit a Baby Vandagyre since it was released before the Baby Vandagyre was.

I really enjoyed reading about everyone's family traditions. As a kid the extended family would always meet at my grandmother's house for dinner. She passed away over 10 years ago and it just hasn't been the same since. I rarely see some of my cousins now. My boyfriend and I are shift workers - sometimes one or both of us have to work Christmas Day or Christmas Eve. So now every year is different; we have to be quite flexible. The only thing I can say happens every year now is that for the month of December we have egg nog on hand for those nice cosy rum and egg nogs! 

Traditionally speaking we don't have too many. Most holidays we spend going to my grandmother's house and having a meal together with the extended family. For New Year's Eve we always make chips and dip and eat them while we watch the ball drop. (CNN for the East Coast, Ryan Seacrest for the West Coast). On New Year's Day we make cinnamon rolls and watch the Rose Parade on the local tv station. Although this year was the last year the long time announcers were still there. Next year it will be two new people because they retired.

Not new to neopets, but new to TDN forums. Used to be addicted to neopets a while back on an old account (10 years ago?) & forgot my login info. So, I made a new account 4 years ago, and only this past week or so started being active again. (Mostly out of procrastination & avoidance of studying for finals, eheh...Because when else is there a better time to finally finish the Altador plot except during finals week?)

I had gotten one of these and opened it, because I got it for free- the same way you did actually! I got some pretty good prizes that sold well, but it did take a few weeks to sell the items. If you're in a hurry for nps I wouldn't bother opening it, just selling the bag would be quicker I'm sure.

I would sell it ^_^ I'm horribly unlucky when it comes to random things on-site though

The week's Giveaway/contest can go one of two ways; It will either be a straight flat out giveaway, no participation needed, just sign up and you're in the running. The other way it could go is an actually contest weather that be a scavenger hunt, a question that needs to be answered,  or a poem written, etc. It's almost a little bit of a re-vamp of the Random contest.  Winners will be announced and posted every Thursday (Time may vary). Check back on this thread to see. You may ask to be in/enter the giveaway/contest up until 12a Eastern Time on Thursday/Friday. A new giveaway will be started the same day the winner for the previous contest/giveaway is announced; along with the new item I am giving away that week. Special instruction for contests will be given with each week (if there is any). Sometimes the items will be worth a lot, other times they may not be, the item rarity and value will vary. The baby Pteri is actually a good idea and cute. Although they are eggs, they couldn't really have them singing if they were in an egg. 
 
I think it's neat as I've always wondered what a baby Pteri would  look like hatched. Plus, it's silly to think that a full grown Pteri would just pop out of that egg, there has to be some type of baby form that is hatched, and doing it this way I think make's it really cool! It definitely answers anyone's question on what an ACTUALLY baby Pteri would look like.

Another thing to keep in mind, is that JellyNeo doesn't update every item price every day. The 35 np price was from way back in October. Looks like they just updated today and the price is now listed as 100 np. So minor price increases have probably been occurring for the last two months, but nobody was reporting those changes to JN.
