Ewwy. I know how you feel. I am a singer and when I get those sinus infections it really messes me up. I drink throat coat to help my voice.

I have a mean sinus infection right now. I've got three boxes of tissues plus the one I'm working. sinus tablets, and nose spray. Then there are my favorite cure-alls...Pizza and a hockey game on tv,
 
The chances of my going to the gym or work are not good. This was supposed to be the week I shop for my parents birthday and anniversary gifts. That will have to sit until I'm better now.
 
Out of curiousity, what do you do or take when you're stuck with a sinus infection/cold?

If ads are one of the issues you have, you can always get the Adblock add-on. I've had it for a while and it works wonders for those annoying video ads that take forever to load or are loud enough to deafen you over the game music.

I'd have to agree, it does look really yummy o.o
 
I'm thinking the new staff doesn't really research these kinds of things in terms of origins of the actual food?

Hi :) I too have quit premium. I quit because the stock market was broken amongst other things and I told them I wouldnt be paying for things that dont work.
Since the transition my biggest issue has been the shop wiz. It takes so much longer to shop stock. The shop wiz is horrible imho- simply for the fact that it shows random prices around neopia rather than the lowest.... sometimes it takes 5min to show anything and i have to keep refreshing. Other than that its been nice. I dont mind the ads. Im usually on just for dailies/ food club so i can manage.

Hi everyone! I haven't been around for quite some time but recently got a new job and should be around more now! Yay! Today, I cancelled my Premium Membership on Neopets simply because I'm trying to cut corners money wise. Has anyone else gone from premium to no longer premium? What's the biggest struggle? I'm worried I am going to be completely lost without the Super Shop Wizard! I also think I'm going to have to go buy a scratch card every Friday because I'm used to having one. My membership officially stops the first week of August. :(

Ooooo IDNQ is back up! Not sure if it was just me, but several months back I couldn't get into it. So I put off my NQ1 & starting NQ2, glad to hear it's back yay!

You could try to lay on the floor with your butt against the bottom/base of the couch/sofa/love seat/recliner-type chair with your calves resting on the cushion or bed (if you have it on a frame and not lazily slung on the floor like mine xP).
I have mild scoliosis (my L1 veers to the left) so I can understand the pains of moving a bunch of stuff around or carrying heavy things for a period of time. If you sleep like that maybe 1-2 times a week (if you can, that is) it can help a bit to realign and even let gravity help blood flow and alleviate pressure.

It's been a while now since I finished level 20 and I still haven't received my prizes.
Before sending in a ticket I just wanted to make sure you get them for finishing the map and not for getting 3 stars on every level. Is that correct or am I supposed to get every star in order to receive te prizes?

My friend opened a ticket for me a year ago, and it still has gone unanswered. We're not sure what to do about it. This is what the ticket in question says:
 
"To whom it may concern, I was using my Neopets account correctly, I had done nothing wrong, and was just going about my business shopping; suddenly, I was logged out and it said my account was frozen. For absolutely no reason, it said I had an "offensive username." I have had this account for over 6 years and it was never before a problem. I have even had an administrator tell me that the account name was OK to use when I first created it. My username is necrolynlyn and, as of six and a half years ago, it did not violate the terms & conditions. I am unsure why it was frozen and any help is appreciated. I have tried submitting a ticket, but you have to be logged into your account. Yet I can't log in because my account is frozen. I have worked for a very long time on this account and would like it not to go to waste. Thank you for your time."
 
Any advice on how to bring this to their attention? Even if I have to create a new account, I'm fine, but I'd like to transfer my neopets and I would really just like someone to address it BEFORE it gets wiped from their system.

Congratulations on your decision! I still haven't decided what to do with my grundoboy51691! After 10 years of trying for a sponge or mallow grundo, I've given up and have a few in the running now. 8-bit, faerie, magma, wraith and woodland are the 5 I'm down to lol. But I'm not sure if 8-bit is only by lab or if there's a potion for it. I have no clue about the outfit ideas, Violet. I'm rubbish when it comes to customizing. To find my magma pool time, I set my phone alarm every 15 mins to check and it worked after a few days! Good luck!!! :rock:

For like a year now my lower back has been hurting. It started with just bending over and now it's pretty much constantly no matter what I do. I'd go to the doctor but I can't afford it, given that... well, no one in this house has a steady job and I'm the only one (of course) without health insurance.
 
It doesn't help that I'm stressed out of my mind. We finally moved into a bigger house, but now the whole house is covered with boxes of stuff that belonged to my roommate's grandmother. All because her mother doesn't believe in getting rid of anything at all. Her mom even got mad at us for putting an 'antique chair' in storage because there was no room for it (I'm serious, the only space to move on the entire first floor is a pathway from the front door to the kitchen.) because SHE says that she told EVERYONE that it would get ruined there. But despite her complaining about it, she hasn't gone to get it. Apparently there was absolutely no reason it should have gone there. But there's no space here for it and she knows it. I don't understand the deal.
 
In addition to that, I, with my bad back, had to move all of dear old departed granny's furniture (I am a tiny 22 year old indivudual) because none of mom's sons actually showed up to help. Making my back and my stress worse. Sigh.
 
I wish I could at least get some pain killers or something, but the shortest wait for a free clinic around here is about two months now.

my old account is still on there and i wanted to jump back in for nostalgia's sake but i forgot the password and since the email associated with that account is no longer active i can't simply have a new password sent to me....i can't even send a ticket to TNT without logging in(which i obviously cannot do)and all messages sent to them via social media have gone ignored
 
makes me wish their service towards the neopets players was a lot and i mean a lot better....11 years on that account gone all because neopets decided on a crappy recovery system

Yeah, I was upset when I combined all of my dubloons and found out that Krawk Island didn't give change. Long long time ago <.< Still upset over it though *pouts*

I voted for your Elephante Lamppost. It looks like it was done in MS Paint, which is awesome! I remember when I was younger messing around in MS Paint and most I could do was use the auto-connecting line and make odd gem looking things <.<

I'm working on...lol the Negg Basket Cybunny avatar! Well I finally got it today hehe :) I know it might seem silly to some because it's basically a log-on and you press a button for 8 days to get it. But for me, remembering to go find it everyday is a hard feat for me to accomplish, especially when studying for exams!
 
On the other hand, good luck for those who are going for the game avatars! I am truly inspired by all :3

Over Spring break, I stayed with my aunt, uncle, and 8-year-old cousin. I was in my older cousin's room for the week (she wasn't there) and I found 2 of her old Neopets Magazines. So of course I pulled them out and read through them. My younger cousin came in and asked what I was reading. Next thing I know, I'm showing her the site and explaining it all to her.
 
So a week later, I get a letter in the mail from her. Inside was one of the magazine posters and her drawing interpretation from the How To Draw section. Let me tell you, I haven't felt this happy in a long time. It makes me realize how influential I can be and it gives me hope for the next generation of Neo users.
