As you may have noticed, an increased number of Neopians have been losing access to their accounts recently.

This is a thread that you can post on now, or at any time in the future, if you're having issues with accessing your account and want to know what to do or how other users successfully regained access to accounts that they were locked out of as well as having frozen accounts restored. This way, you can come to this post and not have to hunt for other threads on the subject and all the information/best practices will be in one location for you.

From now on, please post here instead of starting a new topic. Also note, this is a thread for the discussion of issues regarding account access, and isn't meant to be a general chat board while you wait, so please stay on topic. Updates regarding progress are fine, but please stay within the scope of the topic of account access.


As a rule of thumb here are some of the recommendations that most users seem to make:
1. Use an existing side account or create a new side account to submit a ticket to TNT and if you cannot get the help site to load then you need to email them directly at [email protected] but only send one. Make sure you are polite and positive and be sure to provide as much information about your account as possible to prove that you are the owner.
2. Update your ticket daily by using the provide more information area.
3. Post on the Ticket Response Waiting Board which can be found in the Help section of the Neoboards. Just follow what everyone else there is doing.
4. Post on their Facebook page with your ticket number and politely ask that someone look into it.
5. In your correspondence with TNT be sure to remain polite and positive as these tickets tend to get looked at sooner then ones filled with anger and negativity.

DO NOT SUBMIT MORE THAN ONE TICKET!

I don't know if this makes a lot of sense, but maybe the NC Mall is down because there was a glitch in awarding the NC from the Charity Corner (some people got double or even triple the amount of NC), and they're fixing that?

Yes you can!  And the best part is, not only can you morph your pet into the cybunny, but say you morph her into a Halloween cybunny then decide to paint her pirate, you can put her Halloween clothes on the pirate cybunny.  Then if you paint her pink, you can put the pirate clothes on the pink cybunny or the halloween clothes on the pink cybunny, or you can MIX the halloween and pirate clothes.  Then if you paint her Lost desert, you can put those clothes on her and so on.  So it is great!  I have a draik and an Acara which I have done that with.  So yes, have fun and paint and re paint and get tons and tons of clothing for her. :laughingsmiley:

Yep! You can definitely do this! All of my draiks/aishas have been morphed with pirate potions since they're cheaper now and then repainted :)

Yeah. If you remove a petpet from a pet then your P3 does not return to your inventory it just disappears. They're intended to work this way - it's not a glitch. So if your petpet vanished then your P3 would have gone along with it. Sorry!

Sorry! You'll have to try the auctions or the TP. The prices on JN are helpful, but they're not always current.

You are correct. You can have up to 4 side accounts to host pets on.
You cannot do dailies, open a shop, or anything else that rewards NP there, but you can claim any NC freebies that pop up in the NC mall.
 
I would suggest creating your side ASAP though. Accounts less than a week old cannot receive any pet transfers and accounts less than 4 months old can't receive any pets that are painted colors other than: blue, brown, checkered, glowing, green, invisible, orange, pink, purple, red, shadow, silver, skunk, speckled, split, white and yellow.
They also can't receive pets level 3 or higher or any LE pets.
 
I find the best way to transfer NP to be through the trading post since you can't have a shop. Send a junk item or two to your side then put those up for trade and offer on them!

I've noticed that the dailies that "close" tend to change the time at ~1 week increments. So if Tombola is down from 7-8 it seems to be that way all week and then it will change. I think it's just how the programmers designed those dailies to work. Check later in the day or you should be back to normal next week ^_^

The only reason I stopped zapping my pets was because I reached a point where I loved the colors I had and couldn't decide what I would sacrifice to continue zapping.  I don't have room for any more pets and I don't want to create another side/move any of my pets so I'm just done.  
 
 
If you're not 100% committed to how he is now then I would say keep zapping ^_^ Especially if you've got a color in mind you think you may like more.

The only reason I stopped zapping my pets was because I reached a point where I loved the colors I had and couldn't decide what I would sacrifice to continue zapping.  I don't have room for any more pets and I don't want to create another side/move any of my pets so I'm just done.

I didn't vote, but caught some key words. You "like" 16B as he is now, but you "love" experimenting. Also, it seems you really want a Maraquan Grarrl. I don't know how many pets you already have. So, if you really like him, but still have room for more pets, then it looks like you may need a new "lab rat". If you don't have room for any more pets, then I say keep zapping. Good luck deciding!

I finally got Gourmet Club Bowls to load and got Dr. Grumps last night!  Going to have to try for these other Shockwave games :)

Because we are considered an official fan site on Neopets, we do not want to encourage any activities that violate Neopets' policies so please do not list that as the Neopets account for both TDN accounts. I would definitely recommend that one of you create your own account or that both of you create new accounts and start fresh.

This one is pretty rare and I'm pretty sure the current selling price is ~10M + so odds are you won't ever find one on the SSW unless someone REALLY messes up.

I like this trend of hats/accessories that can be worn over wigs instead of being part of the wig, as it were. It opens up a lot of possibilities.
