You put your stuffed animals in a trash bag? I wish I had thought of that. I have a few that are really hard. Most of them are licensed plushies. My Little Pony, Bella Sara, Neopets, Grumpy Cat, and a few others.
 
To be honest, I'm scared as heck right now. Sure, I've gone through Andrew, Rita, and Wilma, but that rarely helps when the next one comes along. I think Matthew is trying to be Hurricane Andrew's tough little brother.
 
I have all my pets in the neolodge for a week in case things go bad. I'll be around as long as I can.

I love collecting things on NP and IRL. I collect Fyora items for my gallery, and it's worth the NP to get  the avatar(s). I spent 2 mil to get the Faerie Queen Doll, and 600k on the reject version. I can honestly say that I have no regrets.
 
For a starting point, I would suggest going to JellyNeo. Look up stamps under special searches, They'll have a whole list of stamps. Start with getting the cheap ones, and work your way up. If you have a shop, selling stock helps raise np for the pricey stamps. Collecting bank interest helps too.

I collect stamps as well. As far as a starting point I guess it depends on what your ultimate objective is?
 
I started by just collecting what I could afford and after I had a decent collection I decided to complete my shell album. Now I'm working on Faerieland because I want the avatar, but I still keep an eye out for good deals on other stamps.
 
If you're into avatars, then I'd say it's definitely worth it to work on just one page that has an avatar - but any given album costs millions upon millions to complete and some stamps are very hard to come by.
 
I agree with WhiteWolf's suggestion though - if you don't have a definite goal then I would just work your way up by price :) Or pick the ones you think are prettiest. It's your collection - do what feels right to you!

Hi Dana, good luck luck for the procedure. Does your lab have an open air MRI? I have bad claustrophobia and was given the option to do the open air for a brain scan (among other things). Check if that's an option if you're worried.

I like the Ultimate Riches suggestion, I got there recently, took me just over 500 days, so it would be a great one to need to work towards.
 
Along the lines of the "Royal dunce" suggestion, a number of epic fail type ones for the games would be fun. Stuff like repeatedly getting within a hair's breadth of getting a high enough score to get a game's avatar, because we all do that! I've done that SO many times on Freaky Factory, just 10 points away before Game Over and so on... :evil_notsmiling: Never have managed to get the avie.
 
Some kind of "Lulz...you suck" type avatar would take the sting out of never quite managing to hit that necessary score.

That is a ten on  the game cruelness scale! I have an idea for an avatar. How about one for getting your bank balance to Ultimate Riches? It's a money bag that has the words Ultimate Riches blinking on it.

Sorry for the long title, but that's what I've got over here. Since I opened the Fortune Cookie on March 17 (Illusen Day), I have gotten: 2 Earth Faerie quest on Illusen Day, 2 more Earth, 1 Grey Faerie that turned into Earth Faerie, a Grey/Fire, and a Dark Faerie.
 
The nightmare is that I still have four days to go! Has anyone gotten a Faerie Quest Cookie like this?  If I had to get a faerie over and over, why couldn't it be Grey or Fountain? lol
