I would definitely not buy stocks that high. I generally only buy ones that are 15NP. :) If you become more experienced in stocks, then maybe? but I think it's just too much of a risk!

I collect the items you fish up from Underwater Fishing. :D
I just have three items I'm missing now, but they're super expensive and rare. I think I'm just going to stick to hoping I fish them up myself. x3

    Other than that... neopoints. :D

I got the Master Vex avatar this morning. :D I was so happy- I've heard fo people getting to really high levels of Cellblock and still not getting it. I got mine near the end of Tournament 9 though. :)

It is possible to get the Meepit Juice Break avatar on Zen mode, but it takes like 18 hours. .___. (I think that's my plan for tomorrow, lolol)

That is more or less what I mean. I have an aquaintance with a number of tattoos that I personally think were silly choices for her to make. I think that in time she will come to regret them, and that she got them for the cool factor rather than anything else. I would never say that to her though. I don't know what's going on in her head, and what she tells me is the reason behind them may not be what they actually mean to her. So I respect her right to get them, and I don't say anything about them. I say the art is nice, or the artist did a good job on the lettering, or whatever. But I don't feel like it is my place to comment on what I think the reason behind the tattoos are, etc.
People don't have to like other peoples' tattoos- not at all. You can think they're ugly, or silly, or pointless, in a stupid place, or anything. But I guess I think that the person that has the tattoos should be given respect in respect to the tattoos. I dislike when people tell tattooed people that their bodies are ruined, or that they will regret a tattoo, or any of that. Not only is just plain rude, but it completely ignores what may be really serious stuff that is going on in their heads in regards to the tattoo, and why they chose it.
A friend of mine came with me to get my tattoo, and even though she was my best friend, I never told her the real reason why I was getting my tattoo, or why I chose the placement I did. I have only ever told my girlfriend, in real life at least. So no matter how close you are to someone, they may not be telling the whole truth about it. Tattooes can be really personal things.

    Does that make sense?

I'm not the OP of that statement but...
When I went to get my tattoo, I said "Okay, so I want this image as a tattoo." That's it. I didn't explain why I wanted it, what it meant, or anything. Most tattooes are symbols, in one way or another. I find that people rarely explain to the tattoo artist what something is supposed to represent when they're making the preliminary plans for them. My artist asked my while she was tattooing it what the meaning behind it was, and I gave her a short and dirty answer, but the important meaning behind it, why it was so important to me, didn't have to be said. It wasn't for other people. It expresses something about me, but only to me. It is a daily reminder of something that I don't want to forget, of something I want to remember but work through every day.
I know of a lot of tattooes like that. A lot of people that previously had addiction problems, or were self-harmers, get tattooes as a way of celebrating living through those dark times, of getting through. I will use my brother as an example again- he was a meth addict for a number of years. He finally did get clean, and he is currently planing on getting "The shadow of the valley of death" pslam as a tattoo; a reminder of the hard times he has been through, the hardest, really. A reminder of how close he came to the very bottom, but still surviving, still getting through. It will mean all these things, and more to him. But when he gets it, he doesn't have to say that. It'll just be a pslam. A beautiful piece of religious poetry. No one seeing it will ask what it really means, and frankly, it doesn't matter to them. It is for him, and him alone. I don't know how well he would be able to really express why he got that, and I don't know if he would want to.

Wow, I feel a little cold hearted after reading all these replies. I don't think I've felt guilty about pounding a pet since I was quite young. Back when I first started, I remember feeling devestated by the pounding buttons, and I just couldn't do it, but the last couple times I've had to pound pet I didn't even give it a second thought.

Wow, that idiot sounds just like my dad.

I find it so insulting when people judge others for their tattoos. A flower or a heart or whatever may not be unique, but the meaning behind tattoos usually are. Tattoos are often terribly personal: a memory of getting through a tough time, losing a loved one, a symbol of something that is important to them, etc. Whenever I see people insulting a tattoo because they don't like how it looks, I want to slap them.

I have a tattoo. It's the signature of Kurt Vonnegut- he was my favourite author through most of highschool and for a couple of years afterwards. He wrote Science Fiction, but all of his books had so much heart and soul in them. He used Science Fiction to show humans, and their behavour (as all good SF should do.)
I had originally planned on getting a quote from a book of his to go with it, but I figured I'd just get it done later, and I haven't done it yet. I was going to have "There's only one rule I know of, babies: '[removed], you've got to be kind'." I find it kind of hopeful for the human race. The man who is talking in the book is saying that when talking to a bunch of children, the only rule he can think of to live on this planet is to be kind to others. How beautiful is that?
I got the signature part in a place that was important to me as well. I struggled with a lot of body issues when I was young, and when I got interested in tattoos I swore to myself that I wouldn't get one until I was 'pretty', until I was thin. I said the hell to that when I did get my tattoo, and I got it on the body part I had always hated the most- my leg. My big fat thigh. This (granted, pretty scribbly, but) beautiful work of art is always going to be there. Maybe I won't always love it like I do. Maybe someday I will wish I hadn't put it there, or I had something else tattooed on me. But I will always appreciate what it means to me.

Tattoos are an important and beautiful way to express yourself, and to come to terms with things that have happened. I know people who have had tattoos placed over the scars they have from self harm. Doing that helped them in their recovery, since instead of these daily reminders of your pain, they have something beautiful.
My brother has plans to get the 23 Psalm as a tattoo ("Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil" etc). To me, his getting that makes perfect sense- he spent years as a drug addict. He didn't graduate highschool, nearly got himself kicked out of my parents' house, got arrested... but he got himself clean. He got his diploma, and is at school to be a nurse. He has a beautiful daughter now (he also has a tattoo of her feet prints on his arm), and life is looking up. But I can totally see why he would want a reminder of the hell he went through, and how he came out of it.

Tony Parsons can go suck it. Go ahead and not get a tattoo. But don't you dare insult others- you have no idea what they've been through or why they got that tattoo.

EDIT: Whoopsy, sorry about the cursing. :) -waggles finger at Vonnegut- Potty mouth. :P

I usually dislike comedies. I am not a fan of the humour in them most of the time. I love horror films, but I'm sick of seeing women being raped and murdered in them all. I don't like westerns either. I find them boring, and I haaaaaaate seeing white people in bad makeup playing terrible caricatures of First Nations people.

Honestly, I hate them. Hate them so much. I know they're supposed to satire, and a commentary on our society, but I feel that it is poorly done. I am hugely offended or disgusted every time I watch an episode. One of the perks I found to leaving an old job was that I wouldn't be working with teenage boys that would watch it in the break room while I was on my lunch. So. Much. Hate.

I always buy whatever I have the least of at 15. xD And then I wait to sell until it's at LEAST at 60np a share.

My biggest suggestion for you is to start buying daily, and always buy 1000 shares. If you had done that with KSON you'd be looking at a REALLY nice chunk of NP, rather than less than 3k. :) Always try to buy at 15, since it's the lowest amount you can buy at, and so you'll get the greatest return when it hits your sell point of ~whatever~. haha. 60 is a common sell point, since it's 300% increase on your initial investment (assuming a 15NP investment). Some people, if they need the NP more quickly for a paintbrush or whatever, will sell at 30 or 45, since it's still a nice return on your investment, but stocks reach it more quickly than 60. :)

Here is my portfolio, under a spoiler because it's long. xD

My stocks aren't doing so great right now, but not too long ago I sold 20k stocks and got a profit of 1.5million or so? Something like that. :)

The clothes stay in your closet, but when you open your customization, you can only see clothes that are applyable (is that a word? sorry) to that pet. So your Kacheek christmas clothes would only appear while customizing a Kacheek.

HOWEVER, since he was zapped Mutant, those will not show up, as very few specific clothes can be applyable on Mutants. :)
