my pteri turned 200 days old, which means it's been 200 days since i started playing neopets again. ^_^ i don't think it would have been half as fun if it weren't for hanging around these forums, so thanks to you all!

So today I decided to SW the famous Fyora Eyeshadow , instead of Wishing Well it ... and the cheapest I found was 67k , but one more click and baaaam !! look what i found :rock: :woot: and yes .. I got it !!

Finally! This game was extremely frustrating for me. I spent about a week playing for a few hours a day before I managed to get max score today. Thank goodness.

It's not years entirely. I believe the account only has to be inactive for a year and a half. There used to be a board/petpage that tracked the lowest amount of months. While I cannot find the page in my bookmarks, 18ish months ring a bell. It was speculated that it goes by activity. If the account looks to have had some good use ie: a lot of avatars/stamps/well painted pets, it likely won't be included in the purge. I also seem to recall that accounts younger than 3 years will NOT be included.
 
It's heavily tracked and quite an interesting read if anyone can resurrect it.

I was supposed to go to a party at my friend's house, but I'm kind of mad at him so I've decided to stay at home (yes, I'm an idiot).
 
I'll be with my parents, my brother and my grandmother. I don't mind this, because I never do anything big on new years, but I wish we didn't have to watch TV. Every year we watch the same show... And the fireworks. I hate them so much.
 
Anyway, I'm looking forward to all the food and the drinks! Also, my family sort of has a tradition where we put in all our favourite moments throughout the year in a piggy bank, and on new years eve we open it and read it. Then we start a new one.

new year's is my favorite night/day of the year, and i always go out dancing! what is everyone else doing this year? :)

Actually a painted petpet sells for less than the petpet pb do, about half the price actually (it also depends on how common the petpet is and how new the color) due to you being unable to decide the petpet to paint, 150-200k seems like it, maybe even 250 if you're lucky

I would imagine it depends on a combination of name, species, and color. Players including myself like pets with proper names - no numbers, symbols, and spaces - that sound good. Pets with awful names are harder to "save" than those that have better names. Species plays a role with the likelihood that someone will like the pet and will adopt it. The most popular species chart is a good guideline, but the limited edition pets should be weighted much more heavily than they are. For example, I would imagine there is a higher demand for Shoyrus than there are for Gnorbus. Finally, color is a matter of preference, but having rare or expensive colors certainly never hurts. You would have to look out for which colors are most popular in a species... to find out which colors are most popular in a species. For Kacheeks, White is a very popular color from what I can make out. Good luck zapping.

the value of smuggler's cove items is in their rarity, not the actual cost it takes to buy them. they could make the smuggler's cove restock in the same way but give the items to whoever clicks first at no dubloon cost, and the prices would be the same.

Putting your money in the bank prevents the random events that take a certain percentage of your money. However, most (all?) of the random events that have a fixed range of neopoints they take can still occur while you have less than that amount of neopoints on hand.
Most of those are really minor amounts (Things like 20NP or 190NP and similar), though the Mutant Kadoatie takes 5k and the Bullies event can take a somewhat larger amount as well.

i reached my battle pet's training goal today! now i can finally start selling any codestones that i get. :D that'll help my bank a lot. XD

Even as a premium user with the maximum 5 accounts, you can only have 21 pets. You can only have premium (and thus the extra pet space) on one account.
Unfortunately, that does mean you have to pick between all the pretties.

There is no vote page and you can't vote for yourself in the customization contest. Entries are completely randomized and you simply vote on the entries you are given.
