Because I've just discovered something that kind of angered me. I have Autism, but neopets has deemed the names "Autism" and "Autistic" as inappropriate. Blind and Deaf are fine, so is Downsyndrome, Aspergers, Specialneeds, Spastic (which, at least in my country, is deemed a slur), Tourette, amongst others. Why is it that only Autism seems to be "inappropriate", despite this being a kids site and it being something that lots of kids deal with on a day to day basis...?

So I posted a little while ago about my foster sister joining the site. I sorted her a welcome pack and everything. One of my pieces of parting advice was 'Always spin the Fruit Machine!'. Well... it looks like that worked out for her... Names removed to protect my email address and her details in general as she's under 13. But what bloody luck is that!?

I think you can tell this is a really old item, because they'd never write a description like this now. What goes bounce...bounce...whirr... splat? But student Adam? Yep, I can def see a guy at uni guffawing over that!

I'm also sorta back. I left December 2019, if I recall correctly. Made a big dramatic post on why I'm leaving Neopets. I more enjoy this forum site than Neopets, and I'll probably just collect bank interest and buy stocks. Dunno if anyone remembers me, but my username back then was Robin Hood. Hmmm... The red sauce with that gelatinous glob of 'creamy sauce' really doesn't help the image at all... It's rather like what I'd imagine a jilted lover might hide under the back patio...
