I actually slept in today. :D

Ick. How much snow do you have now? (We still have a lot of ice in places, but it's been slowly melting because we've had some high 50s days.)

I slept in as well this morning, even though my sleep patterns are usually random compared to the most of you.

I have zero snow, and I'd like to some snow this January (or February). It would never be Winter if you don't have snowfall.

Neo, you can have all of our snowfall. I'm perfectly happy with a winter without snow. :D

Or I guess Alaska would be probably be willing to share as well. My dad says in Anchorage right now, they're trucking the snow out of the city because there's too much, and no where to put it.

I don't have any snow either. :c

It's the end of December. It's not supposed to be 50 degrees outside. It's supposed to be 30 degrees colder and snowing. :grrr:

I guess I enjoy warm winter days because I really hate being cold.

It's nice to get a break from the cold. Yesterday it got into the high 50s and I really enjoyed it. (Though I guess we're supposed to be getting more snow soon.)

It only "really" snowed here yesterday. We didn't have a white Christmas. :( It's been a very weird season for us here. I live in Canada and you'd THINK that would make it cold, but our weather has been pretty mild lately. For instance, summer went from being very hot to just being very cold - we usually have Fall, but instead of a real "Fall" season, it went straight from hot to cold! And our winter has had some very warm days, too. When it has snowed, it melts quickly. When I was little, it wasn't like this. Snow usually came well before Christmas and you could go sledding! Or build snow men! I remember plenty of white Christmases. But it's been drastically changing now. I've seen the changes in my own 22 years of life. Perhaps it's global warming or just how it is...

It's been the same here. We used to get at least 2 blizzards a year when I was little. Now, even significant snow storms are less frequent. I guess someone who's been studying the Colorado climate for the last 20 years, said we've been having progressively warmer and drier winters.

The snow didn't stick. That's a good thing since my HDMI cable came today and I wouldn't wanna walk out to the mailbox in the snow.

Well, see I prefer warmer weather. But I feel sorry for the kiddos who don't get "snow days" (we usually got 3-4 of them per year!), or get to sledding. It DID snow yesterday and it managed to cover the ground but it's gone now. There wasn't even a tad bit left for a snow man.

It does depend which parts of Canada you live in. I live in Ontario and sort of close to Toronto. I heard other places around us have received quite a bit of snow.

I'm getting old. Back in the day, I LOVED snow. I embraced it. Now, I'm just like "meh." It's too much effort for me to get as bundled up as I need to be (I mentioned in my allergy post that I had an allergy to cold weather where my skin reacted with a rash when I was cold, I still have some of it). So because of my condition, you guys can probably guess how much of myself I have to keep covered, otherwise the effects are itchy and painful!

Edit: 50 posts and I am now deemed a "cool person". Yay! :P I fit in.

That sucks. Right now I think I'm getting eczema on my elbows from them rubbing against my computer desk.

I'm the same way. I used to LOVE the snow. I'd play outside in it for hours when I was younger. I'd come up with any excuse to be outside, even shoveling the driveway.

Now, I despise the snow. I hate the cold and wet. I hate leaving the house when it snows. The roads get dangerous and I hate driving it in.

I really should move somewhere warm, but I've lived in CO my whole life.

Haha same. I'm used to and comfortable in this area. I'm not too good with huge changes and moving takes a lot of work. (Wow, I'm so lazy...) I have this whole city memorized. Although, boyfriend wants to leave. He comes from Russia so he's used to the cold but he wants to see other parts of Canada. Like British Columbia.

Many places have similar weather anyway.

My husband is from Florida. He seriously loves the snow and cold. (I'm not quite sure what's wrong with him. Maybe it's because it's a novelty to him still.)

No where else could be home. I'm used to seeing the mountains outside my window every day. Plus, my parents are here. I wouldn't feel comfortable going anywhere with my mom's health the way it is. I did move about an hour away a couple years ago, but I came home on the weekends often. (Plus I'd spent a lot of time in Denver growing up, so I was comfortable in the city, though not as much as my home city.)

Aww I still love the snow. I'm in ontario too near toronto visiting my family. When it finally snowed I was so excited to go out and walk the dogs, but I was surprised we didn't see anyone else! It snowed for like 2 days straight here, very lightly, but it just rained yesterday and washed it all away =(

Normally I'm in Vancouver so we don't get any snow, but luckily there's mountains nearby so I usually go snowboarding at whistler couple times a year to get my fill. It's supposed to be an el nino winter there so I'm pretty stoked =D

I just hate being cold. My body is miserable when it's cold. And I'm now a nervous wreck when having to drive in it. Not many people here actually drive for the conditions.

This winter has seemed to have more snow than usual. We got hit with 2 severe storms in 2 days. (Normally we don't get that many within a winter.)

My dad's in Anchorage, Alaska right now, and he said they're currently having one of the snowiest winters they've had in forever. It started snowing early in the year and hasn't really stopped.

I get cold easily, but I refuse to show it. I'm that idiot walking around with a short-sleeve shirt when its 35 degrees out. :3

I used to be that way in middle school. I just didn't get cold easily then. Everyone would be freezing, and I'd be running around without a coat. (And if it was so cold the teachers wouldn't let kids out without a coat, I would stay inside for lunch.)

Now, I get cold when it's actually not even that cold. I generally carry a hoodie in my car in the summer, because the AC in places completely freezes me.

It's all warm here. But I still get cold easily. :/ For example, I had this really annoying cough last week. Took me forever to recover.

Long time, no see Anisha! I hope things in life are going well for you.

Also, I hope you get well soon, I hate having annoying coughs myself.

It's currently 40 degrees where I am, and the predicted high is 49 degrees with some rain. Things will get colder on Tuesday with a low of 12 degrees on that day.

It's supposed to get to 52 today. I think it supposed to be in the 50s for the next week. Maybe it will warm up if the winds settles down.

I agree, I'd much rather have the 72 degree weather. Or any constant temperature at all - I don't think Nature can decide if it's winter or spring where I am.
