I don't know when it started, but I've loved candles for a long time. (My first job when I was 16, was actually at a candle store.)

I like the way spice and vanilla candles smell but I prefer potpourri. It makes my nose happy!

I prefer lavender-scented candles myself (not just for the light-purple colour), as well as any fruit-scented candles.

I love almost all scented candles, especially the ones that smell like pie, cookies, spices or anything tropical.

The only scented candles I don't like are the ones that have a really strong flowery smell.

Lavender ones are awesome! It's always such a nice, refreshing scent. That's another favorite of mine. I usually would light those ones in the evening.

I don't mind scented candles. But I seriously dislike those candles that don't go out when you blow them on the birthday cake.

I think the only thing I've ever set on fire was a bowl of ramen in the microwave >.>

That was back in 1st year of university when I was living in dorms. I was so glad that it didn't set off the fire alarm at 3am or I'm sure everyone would've hated me xD

So I just played CoD online for the first time. My god these people take that game seriously. o.o

Not as bad as when I tried a gamer truck though. I still have nightmares about that.

It was this past summer. We had horrible air quality here for quite a few weeks, thanks to the monstrous fires in Arizona and New Mexico. :P

Blah. I woke up at 7:00 AM this morning after getting to bed for 5 AM because my poor boyfriend was in the washroom attempting to throw up for whatever reason. He had to go to work for 10 AM and his friend wanted to have breakfast early because her friend had to work. So, we went out for 8:30 AM and it turns out her friend cancelled. I had a good breakfast but I'm not very compatible with lack of sleep. My eyes are killing me. I want to wait for my boyfriend to get home before I sleep however.

I've been up since 7am myself. I can't seem to sleep in past 7 or 8 on my days off work. (I get up at 5:30 for work.)

 

Maybe you could go for a walk to wake yourself up, or take a short nap?

I've been up since 8am. I usually don't get up that early on weekends or days that I have break.

However, on school days, I get up somewhere around 6:10-6:40am because I have to leave the house by 7.

My body is just so used to getting up early, that if I wake up early on my days off, I can't get back to sleep, no matter how tired I am.

 

I gave up after an hour of not being able to go back to sleep this morning.

I'm pretty sure that was directed at me... if so, it's because I wanted to, and if I changed my name to Rachiee (with a capital R) instead of rachiee I'd probably immediately regret that.

Recently, near my house, there was this giant fire caused by a match reigniting in the trash and the fire spreading to nearby PROPANE TANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, not good. Every firetruck in the state called in. :sad01_anim:

Wow! I bet that was quite a mess. I hope your house wasn't affected at all. (Or anyone's for that matter.)

 

When I use matches to light candles, I always keep a small bowl of water in the bathroom by the sink, and I leave them in it to soak for quite awhile before I throw them away. I don't know that it would make a lot of difference, but I hope it does.

I woke up at like 9:00 this morning. I usually sleep in on breaks and weekends. To top it all off, I woke up to it snowing.
