Spritzie Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 :laughingsmiley: It's the same thing here. We have snow one day, 60 degrees the next, then snow the next. It's kind of frustrating. Quote
Tedhaun Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 For a moment, I always thought that Southern New England had crazy weather patterns. My December has been vaguely warmer than average if you ask me. Quote
Spritzie Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I know we always have crazy weather patterns here. We can have 70+ degree days in December and January. We get snow early and late. Blizzards that shut down most of the state, but the snow is nowhere to be found within 24 hours. Quote
rachiee Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 New York has crazy weather patterns too, but not in the summer because it's usually 80-95 degrees and sunny. The temperature around here has been at least 10-15 degrees above average lately. Like I keep saying, it's not supposed to be this warm this time of the year... Quote
sarahesque Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Normally our weather pretty much runs like clockwork - hot in the summer, cold in the winter. But I don't think it's even snowed once where I live this year, and we tend to have at least a thin layer of snow on the ground around Christmas. Not that I'm complaining. I don't really like snow that much :] I feel bad for you, Spritzie, that your weather is so topsy-turvey. I'd probably lock myself into my house and stock up on canned foods :P Quote
Spritzie Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 This has just been a weird weather year. We normally have thunderstorms in the spring, and just hot, dry summers. This summer, we have severe thunderstorms all summer. It's insanely windy right now. The winds are up to 40 miles an hour. Quote
billpika_x8 Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Weather in my area is extremely mild. I think that's an oxymoron. It's 52 degrees, and it's cloudy. Sigh... Boring New Year's. Quote
Tedhaun Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I just hope that your New Year's doesn't get too boring, Billpika. If you still have a New Year's party with your family, that should improve your mood. Quote
-Ryan Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Watching the New Years Eve thing happening at Times Square. Hot Chelle Rae sounds absolutley terrible live. Wonder how Beiber will do. And can't wait for OneRepublic! :3 Quote
The Score in Blue Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Being summer over here, it's reasonably hot... Quote
Spritzie Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Want some snow? We have some to spare. :D Quote
Anisha Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Ooh, ooh. I would love to have some snow. ;D Quote
Tedhaun Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 I still expect to see some snow this month, I don't want to go through winter without it. I don't mind if it's just cold weather, but some snow would really make winter more complete in my opinion. Quote
Spritzie Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Sure, Anisha! You can have as much as you want. :D I'm so tired of the cold. It was 22 degrees this morning, but it felt a lot colder due to the humidity. Quote
Anisha Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Give me AAAALLL the snow. xD 22 degrees must be... painful. I can't stand cold. I am not used to it. But, I love snow. :P Quote
Spritzie Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 I'll get it on an airplane to you right now. If it wasn't for the humidity, it wouldn't have been quite so bad, but with it, the cold is way too much. Quote
Anisha Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 I hate the fact that it's always hot here. :/ We need a little change. =P Quote
Spritzie Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 I'll trade you places for awhile. I want to move somewhere warm all year. It'd miss the snow occasionally, but I'd get over it. Quickly. Quote
Anisha Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Okay, let's switch places. Me in Colorado. You in Goa. :D Quote
Spritzie Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Sounds good. :D And when you go back to Goa, you can take some extra snow with you. Quote
Anisha Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Of course. :D And you can take some... Sand. :P Oh yes, we have FANTASTIC sand. Quote
Spritzie Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Perfect! I'll make a beach in my backyard after I get back here. Quote
Anisha Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 He he. This kind of reminds me of a Phineas and Ferb song. :P Quote
-Ryan Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 ... Spritzie gets snow, Anisha gets a beach... - sits in desert with dirt and occasional dead things- :sad02: Quote
Tedhaun Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 ...and I get seasonal to unusual weather in my area, that's Southern New England to you. Are you sure that your part of Arizona gets to 100 degrees, Ryan? It does get really hot in Phoenix as I've been told. Quote
