I have two cats currently. One named Thomas because I got him when I was 4 and my parents named him Matisse (after the artist) and I couldn't remember it XD and the other is a recent rescue I named Cricket (because I saw it on on online list of cute names for black cats and liked it- lol so creative!)
 
I also had a fish for 4 years that recently died named Kevin...after Kevin from the office
 
lol when I worked at a vets office for a number of years I would see the weirdest names...I remember a golden retriever named "juice box"

I really do think cats talk to each other, but not necessarily with their meows. I think they make noises out of our hearing range, because there are sometimes when one of our cats will be doing something and the other comes running...it's like the first one hollered at the other.
 
One thing I like to say (though I only believe it's about .001% true) is that cats can become invisible. All the times I've looked all over the house, the basement and everywhere and can't find one of them, but they suddenly appear later...it sure feels like they can go invisible! :laughingsmiley:
 
Something I know for certain is that a cat will come to check on you when you're sick not necessarily because they hear you throwing up, but because your scent changes. (A former friend told me that and I absolutely believe it.) I can totally believe that if something's wrong, your cat will smell it and think, "Ooo...she smells like that when she's in distress...I'd better go see if she needs comfort."
 
Sometimes I feel like I know what the cats are saying, but that just may be intuition. ;)

When I was growing up, it rained a lot where I lived, and I was mad because I couldn't go outside and play during the rain or I could get a cold sometimes. My Mom let me play in the rain sometines, and told me a story about the rain when I was little that really made me appreciate the rain, and nowadays I love the rain and welcome it every time I see it.

I miss my Mommy so much. This year will be nine years since she's been gone... I'll always believe this story, but until forever comes, I'll believe she has a hand in the rain that falls on me. <3

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I hate, hate, HATE NC push. Don't give me crystal neggs if to open them it's 125 NC EACH. That's ridiculous and absurd. Stop using my inventory as a bribe - I can't trade them, I can't use them, and I seriously refuse to pay $5 to use them. If I wanted to pay for it, I would have in the NC Mall. But forcing it on me and making me SDB it drives me up the wall.

I highly recommend The Following. Unfortunately there's only 2 episodes left in this season and you really need to watch it from the beginning of season 1 for it all to make 100% sense.
 
Congrats on getting satellite TV! I was so thrilled when we go ours and now I want to downgrade our programming and get Netflix lol.

If you are clinically diagnosed with depression then you should request a letter or waiver from you doctor or psychologist for a social service animal. I have BiPolar and Aspergers, and that is how I have my cat. This, under law, prevents ANY landlord from discriminating or denying you your cat under the understanding that it is required for you better health. Just give them a copy of letter. And also, with the letter they cannot legally charge you a deposit on the animal, though you would be responsible for any damage cause by a SSA. (not that I am saying she has) Hope this helps! I love being able to cut corners. :) and this is federal law by the way, not state.
 
SSA's do have quite a few differences from a normal service animal. This is basically the only right they have, you can't bring them in a store, BUT you CAn bring them on an airplane or any public transit to help with anxiety, etc. you just gotta keep a copy of your letter dated within the past three years I think it is?

My dad caught some sort of bug back in December and for some reason (it might have been because he coughed up blood), they were concerned about his heart. I know how hard it is to stay home by yourself during a situation like that. I enjoyed my "mini vacation" with the cats; but at the same time, there was a lot of, "What's going on? Is everything going to be okay?" going around in the back of my mind. (I extremely dislike my mother, but I was calling her and keeping her updated. That's how much I was worried!)
 
In retrospect, I can't believe I still went and took my pharmacy technician boards the day he got out of the hospital. There was just so much going on that week with him and work and the boards that I'm amazed I didn't lose my mind. O.o

I completely agree with you and I wanted to thank you for responding. I changed my email address on here, so it's always nice to get that first message after. :)

As I recall, this was a problem back when people still did custom caves for Hannah and the Pirate Caves. I don't really play Kreludor Caves much, but it was a silly problem with the other games too. If someone takes the time to make a level, they should make sure it works.

Trying to send a score... only to find that there's a problem with the servers or something.
 
I also agree with the items that just seem impossible to obtain. I understand that their rarity is part of their appeal, but it's frustrating.

I started playing when my children were young to join in with them and found it such fun that I never really stopped. My daughters are now in their early 20s and they still have accounts but are not as active as I am, I think they find it a bit funny that I am still into it and to this degree and that is ok
 
My partner teases me mildly about it now and then but its only in fun and afterwards they make a point of saying they are glad I enjoy it so much.
 
Its not something I would share with everyone I know, I can see that some people wouldnt understand it at all.
 
There are always people who will try to put others down, you hear people making fun of other interests, here in the uk its train spotters or bird watchers that often get laughed at..what harm can it do .. makes them happy after all

I'm 45 and have been playing Neopets for 8 years. A friend recommended it, and I loved Neopets ever since!
 
My 12 year old son makes fun of me a LOT in regards to Neopets, so I make fun of him playing Minecraft!
 
I have been off-line here and there, for 6 mos or so, but in the last 2 years I have been active, except when on vacation. I love playing!!!
