NC is a welcome surprise! I guess I can afford to feed my FQFC addiction a little longer

I'm frantically trying to get the rest of the flash game avatars that I don't have just in case things go kaput come December, and every time I try to get that Feed Florg score, my pre-update release score taunts me. Too bad TNT doesn't reward avatars retroactively

Now that you mention it, yeah, it's like a big batch of huevos rancheros! If I could eat central american cuisine for breakfast every day I would be the happiest camper! I've never used cast iron in my life so I can attest a frying pan works just fine I was really hoping for some cool origin for that name, come on guys, sodium and silicate, really?

Honestly? The tax was super reasonable and I took it for granted! I never had a mortgage in Canada, though, I only ever rented. Rent was a little high for the average income but tax refunds were always plentiful! I miss it Everything is better with a fried egg on top! Ooh, speaking of which, here's a recipe to check out: http://madeincooking.canalblog.com/archives/2013/11/19/27921167.html

I think Finns are the only ones who get off easy in that department! I remember the first time I went to the UK everything seemed insanely expensive; and then I got here and VAT is 25% I realise how spoiled I was with 5% That said, those enchiladas sound heavenly! I've never given them a go before but they seem awfully tempting!!
-
That's a whole lot of cumin but I'm definitely keen to try it! Beer in chili is really good! It adds a hint of flavour but the alcohol burns off so you can serve it to anyone. There's a government monopoly where I live, and the prices are absolutely outrageous! Plus, only open during business hours and closed on sundays. Coming from a place where I could walk five minutes to my local any hour of the day and grab a 2-4 for cheap it's a rude awakening

The only way you would lose a p3 would be removing the petpet, so you should be safe to paint! I haven't seen anything about painting having an effect ^^

oh my GOSH those all sound amazing! Thank you so much for sharing! I'm glad to have another vegetarian recipe blog in my arsenal as well This was my old go-to before I moved; it's great topped with sour cream and shredded marble. If you've got a big stock pot it makes a ton and it's easy to double for left-overs and meal prep. It's better with beer than vegetable stock, but it's so tricky to get alcohol here that I haven't made it in a grip. Hopefully one of you can use it!

Ooh that sounds delicious! I love a good pasta bake and I might have a chance to make it this weekend! Thank you

Oh my gosh, that pie looks amazing! Pastry is so tricky and I'm glad it turned out! One of my go-to's is red curry, with whatever veg I can get on discount. This recipe is my favourite base for curry: https://damndelicious.net/2018/02/25/easy-thai-red-curry/, and since I don't eat meat I put mushrooms & frozen peas instead of chicken. It microwaves really well, too! And could you share the recipe? It sounds delicious!

I switched from points to selling snowballs at the beginning of the week, but hopefully this is enough for a gold trophy! Wish I'd saved my stamps to sell until now though -
The face mask is a little weird for me, but I love the detail in the rest of the outfit! And that royal-style one is stunning!

You hit the nail on the head! I feel like you just unlocked memories of young me browsing deviantart, looking through everyone's "original OC pls don't steal" art -
Ooh! Mind if I ask whereabouts? I lived in Saint-Marcel for a year ^^ I liked using livemocha too! If you're still looking to learn Japanese, I loved Smile Nihongo Academy. It's a paid course, but the teacher is really great! That's pretty fantastic! I wish I had a memory that good, even as a teen! I feel like even at 5 pages you could run a one-person spex or something

I know the feeling about taking more time than others to learn a language! Some people pick it up so easily and they sound like a native speaker and I can't help but be jealous! In English-speaking Canada, French is mandatory throughout grade school; nowadays they start in kindergarten but for my age group it was only from grade 7 onward. Even if I can carry a decent conversation in Quebec, I still think it makes absolutely no sense as a language! You don't pronounce 90% of the letters and the entire language seems to be made up of unrelated homophones With both of you learning at the same time, it might be interesting to try to hold conversations in your respective languages to see what your weak spots are!
-
Learning a new language is a great goal! German is a good place to start as an English speaker too. If you want to supplement duolingo, I highly recommend LanguagePod101. It focuses more on conversation and comprehension than grammar, and I like to use both when I learn a new language. Good luck and keep us posted on how it goes!

Yeah, just shoot [email protected] an email. I hope it gets resolved soon!

Now that's what I'm talking about! Didn't notice the braids until you mentioned it and now I can't unsee it oh my god That fanart page replaces the tentacles with what look like rat tails and it's so much better. -

It took me way longer to sell the necklace than any other wearable. I think the best bets right now are the background and just selling snowballs, which are still going like hotcakes. -
Yeah, that water looks way more like Maractite than the other water designs...

Then I might give it a shot! Thanks guys!

I think the best embodiment of 'kitsch' that you get IRL is like, a boutique antique or second hand shop? Not like UK charity shops, but more some individual's collection of random knick-knacks. Wiktionary says "questionable aesthetic value"... That said, I don't have a Kacheek so I'm sitting this one out anyway
