Thank you for clearing this up! I understand it better now. I will observe this calculation method during my next PT time. I appreciate detailed spreadsheets. My husband thinks I'm nuts for preparing a spreadsheet just to play Neopets! lol

I still don't understand the labor cost calculation... For 250 trainees + 25 managers it is 5,550np.

According to SungMinty's guide: Labor Cost = Total Labor Cost / No. of Jobs.

That means, starting more than one job is better right? So how did you get 1,247np for the Ixi jobs?

And the unfireable manager is confusing me. Is he paid only during plushie tycoon operating hours (10:01 am to 5:01 pm). Or do I have to pay him daily (24 hours)?

I am a hoarder too. It's difficult for me to sell or get rid of items. Even though I know that I am NEVER going to use them 

@Nielo Items that you get from dailies such as kelps from Underwater Fishing. I remember they used to be 1np in shops. Now they are sold up to 15np. 

When is this Charity Corner happening? Maybe I should hold on to all the junk items I've been collecting in my SDB! I was going to discard them to get the Rubbish avatar lol... 

@Nielo You are a genius! I found the ad-blocker setting on Kaspersky. I disabled it and I can finally play games! Thank youuuuu~

Why are all the junk items prices that used to be 5np (or less) is increasing? What's happening? lol

Yep. It is not really an issue with an ad blocker, but one you can have, if you aren't using one. An ad is supposed to play, before (all?) most games load, but for some unknown reason, it doesn't. Due to either Neopets, or the ad provider Neopets is using. The ads are not Flash based, but HTML5. By installing an ad blocker plugin/extension for your browser, it "should" block the ad, and take you straight to the game loading screen. However, I have heard of the "black screen, and three red dots" issue still happening with certain ad blockers, one being uBlock Origin. I use Ad Block Plus, and don't have the issue, so give it a try if your ad blocker of choice is still giving the issue.

EDIT: If you are using an ad blocker, and get the screen, try updating the filters, and then, refresh the page. On occasion, I have to do that with ABP. Not sure why, but sometimes the filters stop/don't update. Also, I do not use an special filters for Neopets, so if you are using those, try removing them and see if the ad is blocked.

I am stumped. I never downloaded/installed any ad blocker for my computer. This is really weird. lol. 

I do notice that the first time I started playing Neopets on my computer the ads never showed. Even banners around the site are hidden. But when I used my husband's laptop, there are ads everywhere. Which is weird because we're both on Windows 10, uses the latest Google Chrome and are on Kapersky Internet Security. I updated everything that needs updating and still no luck..

Is anyone having this problem with Neopet games? I tried most of the games and all I get is this loading screen but the game doesn't start.

I've tried everything. I've updated the adobe flash player. I restarted my computer. It still won't load. 

I am using Google Chrome (version 73.0.3683.103) on Windows 10.
