So few this time around, the huge variation in the number of people who enter always intrigues me. ?

OMG, so many! *squeal* This is going to be such an exciting round! There`s such a great variety here, so many good ideas! Nr 12, congratulations on making that Ona facepaint look good!
 
I think my favourites are 4, (I love The Lion King!!) 8 (The Corpse Bride is great too) 12 and 13.. but everyone`s entries look great, honestly. You guys amaze me with your creativity and talent for customizing.

I had a concept but never ended up finishing it, great job everyone, I'm surprised at the variety!

I`m impressed at the sheer number of entries this round! I wasn`t expecting that. I had some trouble coming up with an idea, but it`s clear to me that everyone else had fun this round. Love the story for nr 10, so cute! Nr 9 did a great job with blending the colours, it looks gorgeous. Nr 3 is perfect. Great job, everyone. Oil Paint is a challenging colour to work with, but you all crushed it!

I had a very happy coincidence. The Daily Puzzle was Pirate Champion was a member of which crew?
Answer: Revenge's Crew
Then I got a Discovered Treasure Chest from the Forgotten Share. I open it up, and a Pirate Champion was inside! I've never seen a Pirate Champion before, and certainly not in a Discovered Treasure Chest.

Really it's all a matter of personal taste.   Get something YOU like and are happy with.

If you happen to already be happy with what you have, consider pulling a pet out of the adoption center, giving it a fresh look, and then putting it back for a chance to find a forever home.   I'm told for such matters that Royal and Baby tend to be popular.

Looks like we were sharing brain-waves because that's exactly how it was for me too, lol.
I think part of it for me was also that we don't have Ren Faires in this country so I was at a total loss even with Nielo's helpful link. The fun stuff about the food (and sunburn!) that @FreakyBowie and @strawbreathe used in their entries; stuff like that just isn't something I know about.
I was going to dress a pet as a beggar in the potato sack, and have them be sulky because they never got to wear the fancy costumes. This was as far as I got, lol.

These are the pets that can currently be painted Oil Paint, and that qualify for this round. ? It`ll be interesting to see if most of us choose to use the same one, haha! Have fun, and good luck everyone!

Hi guys, a little update:
I've had a super long day and I'm a little too tired to put up the thread today. (Pretty sure I'd mix up titles, links and stories. XD)

I`m surprised there are so many pineapples! I was so certain people would choose Asparagus and Pea, so I made a point to avoid using either of them, I wasn`t expecting so many entries to be based on the Pineapple. Funny.

I am so excited and proud right now!
I first went to college 5 1/2 years ago (Sept 2013), right after I finished high school. Didn't succeed. Dropped out after one semester. I was burned out from school and only went because my family wouldn't stop bugging me about it. Do I really need to say why that's never a good reason to go to college? I did want to go to college. Just not on their schedule.
Floated around for some years, trying to figure out what to do with my life and how adulthood works (LOL; it never stops feeling unnatural, but you get better at it). Got a job in retail. After two years, going on three, of that, I finally went back to school, but I chose a trade school versus traditional college because I didn't want to spend four years getting a degree. No offense to those who take that route. I just didn't want it.
I struggled toward the end of the program, but I got a 91 on my final exam and a 95 on my research project, both of which I finished quickly (exam was 100 questions I answered in 30 minutes; research paper was 4 pages I did in 2 hours by regurgitating text from my textbook, though not verbatim). In the end, I passed the program with a 3.41 GPA, which is an 89% (so B+). So I am good at school... when I like the subject! Eh, no surprise. I've been that way since I was a kid, but I paid my own way, so family can't complain.
I have been over the moon since I found out the grades! What I have next is an internship. I'm nervous about it because it'll be my first non-retail job if I'm accepted (they're trying to have me start this week), but I'm also excited because I'll be working in a public school (or more than one; I'm uncertain). Which means weekends off! Retail has made hate the weekend! I want to love them again!

Ooh, I've just realised that @strawbreathe's pretty lady used the Vandy contacts too, those make SUCH a big difference on Grarrls. I was pleased with how pretty my girl turned out, but our winner with her sassy short hair looks even more so, I think.
Actually, if you put the two side-by-side...

Because of the matching eyes there could almost be a mother and daughter thing going on here. Mine's hair definitely gives her a "mom" vibe, I think, right down to the blonde to cover up encroaching greys. But a classy mom, and one who still goes out and has fun I'm glad to see, lol, and with a daughter she'd be very proud of!

#2 and #7 are my favourites!! The Vandagyre is one of the first times I've really liked a wig on a neopet!

Like @jellysundae and @Angeló (tagging people seems to be not be working for me right now...) said, the 'none' option exists because if a poll consists of more than one part, you have to vote for at least one option from each part. It's just the way the software works. So for those who only vote for 1 entry (I've never been able to do that!) and for those who just don't like any of the entries in one of the sections, the option to choose 'none' exists, so they can still vote for the entry/entries they like. ? During rounds where we only have a handful of entries (which will fit in one part), I always leave out the 'none' option.
As for the rare occasions (I've seen it happen only twice) where someone votes 'none' in both parts - I've never understood that. Just don't vote if you don't like any of the entries. ?

I noticed that too! The Runway was where I first realised I loved Lutaris (there was a Lutari themed round), so I'm glad to see some more of them.

They totally don't have to be your pets. Occasionally my main guy does get to model for a contest, but I mostly pick one that a particular item that I want to use looks best/silliest on, depending on the end result I'm going for. ☺️
