I also prefer items.  I try to keep up the streak (so far haven't missed a day since it was introduced!  That'll last until the next hurricane, lol.) and don't care what I get really.  I've sold a few things, and kept a few.  

As a side note, though, I do tend to prefer it when the daily rewards are neopoints.  Don't think I've gotten many great prizes (a couple petpets aside) from them.

Why does the valentines candychan look so sad?  I mean, they always do, but poor guy.  It's like me, hahaha.

I looove that Lupe, though it'd definitely need contacts of some sort because I think the heart eyes are creepy.  

I like the dress, but the stick under the heart on the bow makes it look like someone stuck a lolly to the poor pet.

The little faelie baby is too freaking adorable.  Not really a fan of the rest, I suppose.  The head flower by itself could be fun, but the tail one is weird to me, and I've not seen a mosaic I like so far, sadly.

Definitely better to buy when they're on sale!  

I have the lab map on one of my sides (and need to buy pet slots since it has given me pets I like now, lol!)  I definitely like my island ixi as she is, so I am NOT willing to use it on her and take the risk.  If it's months away, I might be able to get her up to 250 str/def and get another multiplier, but I doubt I could get more than that as it's still a bit under 150 training sessions, and I tend to do them over the 4 days I'm on my home computer at 2x daily.  Of course if I got to 250, I could start using reds for shorter sessions, too, but eh.  Oh, and still would need to bump her HP up so it's not ridiculously low in comparison. . .

Oh, yeah.  If you've got the ability to get the GSF, way better to do him!  Sorry, I'm just one of the Poors who can't afford premium, so I don't usually think of premium stuff first!

Given that the last couple events the half day didn't count as day 1, I am SO glad I decided to refresh to see if there was any new stuff before I went to bed!  

I played just out of high school, didn't know of any of the plots around that time (I think there was at least one) and vanished from neopia for years, so all I've done is heard of the others.  Too bad there's no way to play any but the Altador plot after the fact.  

As long as the prizes are equivalent, and I don't have to try to team up with someone who may or may not like me, I'm not too fussed about how they do it.  So long as I CAN do it.  I think I started training when I had to fight Malum's forces and he was destroying me.  Ugh.

I'd assume selling them would be more beneficial than turning them in on Techo Mountain, right?  Not QUITE enough for one of the reds, but more of a cost offset than getting a random one that might not be as expensive as the one you need.

Is this what happened to your sister's account?  Does that mean they finally told her why she was frozen?

Seems it has happened to a few other people that I've seen while googling, but the TNT says VPMs are allowed.  Maybe suggest she start sending in tickets with a link to this saying "hey, you banned me for doing something you said was fine."

I seem to have a bit of luck fighting the koi warrior (water dome?) for codestones.  I've read that dome is supposed to drop them at about a 30% rate.  Most ARE still the tan ones, but you can always sell those to get the reds.

I hope there's nothing too challenging in the plot.  I've only just gotten Mac up to 200 str/def, her HP is still super low, and I'm really going to be sad if I can't finish it because they expect people to have been training for years.

I hadn't even heard of it.  Is it just a challenge yourself thingy?  Not that I think I've got most of the challengers, or could beat a lot of them anyway.

I made one for it because there were so few entries.  Doubt I'll win, but it was a fun project.

I've gotten the nc prize from the expellibox twice, I think?  And I don't think from anywhere else.  I bought it once to get extra pet slots, but definitely won't be buying anything for uc pets because unless I got a bunch of the deluxe stuff now I would likely not be able to afford it in future if it doesn't go on sale again.  Glad we've got the old artwork back, but the price is too high.  It would have hurt no one if TNT had made it easy for anyone to afford, except perhaps a few elitists who wanted something special.

Didn't they give anyone who had a uc pet the skin that would match what it looked like?  Or was that only for painted pets and not the starter colours?

I, for one, am incredibly disappointed by this.  I had the feeling, when the survey went out ages ago, that this would be the case, and it is.  You can't buy neopets from anyone, but you can absolutely buy uc ones from TNT.  I KNEW they'd go nc, since they asked how much people would be willing to pay, but.  $6USD if you buy your cash from the cheapest vendor to get a random look, and $12 (just to get the amount needed with no extra) to $18 to get the one that you actually want.  It's feels more like a cash grab than anything else.  This makes the single random wearable as expensive as most of the current wonder packs (be-gone aside, since that is special) and the pick your own at nearly twice the most expensive pack.  

Tsk.  Well it seems my weekly quests stayed the same, but only the money part of Trudy (4 days away!) reset.  Oh well.  could be worse I suppose.

Oh, that's nice.  Trudy reset for me anyway.  Glad today's the first day of my weekly quests, otherwise I'd be crushed.  I've gotten some good stuff from it.

Edit:  Maybe not?  I spun, it quit but didn't give me an award, and when I refreshed it showed about the right day.  Hm.  Maybe I'll be lucky after all.

Double post, sorry!  I haven't been able to do my dailies because of the downtime.  Does anyone know if this goes over 24 hours if they'll reset our progress (weekly quests, or Trudy for example) or if they'll leave it on the same day it had been on?  Thankfully I just got my weekly prize yesterday, but I'm really close to the 100K from Trudy. . . 

The Sway is the one with the bank bribery.  I will never not join them when they're on the list.

Heck.  I've completely forgotten already (again.) can we claim these on side accounts, too, or is that something else?
