I typically wash my face after the oil, but this might come down to a preference. Depending on the brand you may not have to wash after. I like having a super tight squeaky clean feeling so I do. Basically all the oil does is it dissolves the makeup and lifts it from your skin by binding to it (science, yay!). Then when you come in with a cleanser, the cleanser should remove any residue of the oil, along with all of the makeup and grime that is now stuck to the oil instead of to your face. But some oils may not have as many residues. And also you may prefer the more supple feeling of not using additional cleanser after. I just happen to like the feeling of having the life sucked out of my face lol..

And I'm typically very stingy when it comes to my money and buying things, but I definitely splurge when it comes to my skin. Because I definitely think it's worth it in the long run. As far as brands go, I haven't used any of those three so I probably can't help you decide >.< ...I am actually obsessed with this one oil but I have only been able to get it directly from Japan =O. Before I got hooked on that one I primarily used the oil by DHC. I actually like the DHC one a lot but this other brand I found is just a million times better =P.

    ohhhh man...

I worked in cosmetics for a short period of time, but it was long enough to drastically affect the way I care for my skin. In fact, I don't think I could even begin to talk about my skincare routine without writing an essay :shiftyeyes_anim:

The number one thing I would tell everyone is to make sure to always remove makeup first. And I don't mean with soap. Makeup is typically oil based; that's how it sticks to our skin. So you need an oil to remove it. Then you can come in with a regular cleanser to remove the excess oils that are more water soluble. Washing your face should always be a two step process. And forget makeup wipes! All they do is tug and pull at the skin without 100% dissolving the makeup...you are still left with residues to be washed off! And there is no point in using expensive serums and toners and moisturizers if they can't fully absorb into the skin.

ok...I think I should stop now.. :laughingsmiley:

Guys! I just discovered a new Haagen-Dazs ice cream flavor called "toasted sesame brittle" and it is seriously the most amazing thing in the universe. To me at least. All my friends think I'm nuts. Any not so normal flavors of foods out there that you all enjoy?

Legit. I do not comprehend at all. How low are these people that they resort to stealing VIRTUAL items. Unfortunately, and I think I've posted this before, there exists a "black market" of neopian items where people are selling off said virtual items for real cash. A quick google search will yield plenty illegal sites to do so. These are the sites that the JumpStart team should be going after. Lawsuits should be filed against the owners of these sites for use of JS's intellectual property. Until then, the market for stolen items will continue to exist. So stupid. Ugh.

I can't think of anything really weird I like D: But perhaps I can be a bit excessive when it comes to salt and garlic? Very few things are too salty/garlic-y for me :9

YES!!!! A friend showed me this a few years ago (I think it was a McFlurry and some particularly crispy/salty McDonalds fries), and it was instantly delicious.

It never tastes the same when I do it at home though, it definitely has to be fast food milkshakes and fries.

I really like those Lays chicken and waffle flavored chips, but I don't think they were very popular. I like to put tabasco sauce on avacado. I also will take half an avacado, put a couple table spoons of tuna on there and then put tabasco sauce on top.

MMM PICKLES. I love pickles with anything lol. But I tend to not like them mixed into things. I remember a while back my friend was obsessed with pickle flavored potato chips, which I found disgusting.

Alex - that is actually my favorite dim sum item too!! That and the sticky rice wrapped in the banana leaves =P

And omg I too dip fries in ice cream. People think I'm crazy with that too but I'm glad I'm not the only one! I love the hot/cold effect it has as well.

A coworker recently tried to get me into root beer flavored pop tarts...he loves them but I kind of gagged not gonna lie.

I basically lived in my best friends home growing up and her family is Taiwanese so I'm used to eating odd things for breakfast - like chicken feet and rice noodles stuffed with beef (which is the most insanely delicious dim sum item ever). I've always been kind if an adventurous eater so stuff like sweetbreads, cow heart, pigs ears - while they all sound really gross - are actually so delicious.

I like to dip my salted french fries in my chocolate milkshakes/ice cream. I do this at Wendy's with their Frosty's too. It's sweet and salty

I had an interesting experience recently with the PC.  I found it absolutely obsessed with UC's and well-named pets, as stated above, except I couldn't for the life of me work out what the majority of the acronyms stood for, so I didn't ACTUALLY know what it was they were so obsessed with.  I asked a couple of questions on some of the threads and got roundly ignored. But then a random PC'er who'd seen me ask the questions PM'ed me and answered all my questions and we had a bit of a chat for a day or two.  Which was nice of her.  And unexpected.  And completely unlike everyone else I came across on the PC.  The other thing I discovered was threads of people pound surfing looking for well named (WN) and very well named (VWN) pets and then posting their finds for others and chatting about the names.  They're into real world names, the shorter the better.  So, I have a Kacheek on one of my side accounts and her name is a surname in Indonesia.  It could get a favourable mention because it's a real-world name, but it's not a traditional first name, and it's not short (it's seven letters long and they seem to like five or less), so I don't know how she'd go.  Not that I'm planning to pound her at the point in time but...  Anyway, I just found that in interesting phenomena.  I wasn't sure if it was a public service or if it was more of an idle interest with no actual intention to adopt, in the same way that I might chat with someone about foreign destinations that interest me but with no actual intention of travelling right now, or if it was something a bit more predatory.  I wasn't sure if these people would swap out their pets at the drop of a hat if a better-named pet came along which made me wonder about their attachment to their pets. *shrugs*

Fruitcake, I'm not here to ask for a pet.  I have plenty.  (Although the plushie draik is VERY cute! But I already have a draik.)  I'm sorry to see you go, and good luck for the future.  Maybe you'll come back to Neopets sometime in the future like acmerasta did.  If you do, make sure you come back to TDN!
