I thought this game would be the one to break my AAA streak... But with a lot of patience and some luck, I got the score!
 
My advice for those who are struggling:
- Get used to the controls first. This sounds obvious, but when I started, I couldn't control the boat properly. I'd crash into the mines in the stupidest ways. 
- Restart the game until your first dubloon is worth a lot. I tried to get the 1000 point dubloon right away, but I'm not sure if that's actually possible (I restarted hundreds of times). But I did get the 500 point one a few times, and starting with that should be good enough! You'll be half-way towards the score.
- Choose a strategy. It seems most people like the herding strategy, but I don't like it so much because I'm still not that good at controlling the game. And all those mines make me nervous, so I prefer dealing with two at a time (I know it's riskier because you never know where the next mine will show up).
- Don't rush! Time doesn't matter. Also, pray for valuable dubloons lol. Not long after starting the game with a 500 point dubloon, I got a 1000 point one.

I'm sure we've all come across many names we may have wanted to give to our Neopets, only to find they are taken. There are loads of these names up for trade on the Neoboards, but most of us can't meet the expectations of the trading requirements they have. Even worse, lots of these names are sitting on frozen or abandoned accounts  :sad02:
 
However, my sister has done something quite unique. What she did was she typed in loads of different Neopet names she wanted, then when a Neopet would inevitably pop up she would click on them to see if they had an owner. For one of these names, the pet was unbelievably stuck in the pound so she went and adopted them! <3
 
A lot of pets get stuck in the pound and won't come up no matter how many times you cycle through, so I would highly recommend my sisters method.
 
She's the proud new owner of LightFairy ^_^ She's a big fan of all things faerie so I'm really happy for her :P

Finally, one of the games I like. I suppose everybody have their own way of playing. In my experience, the thing where you make appear the guy from TNT does not give you more bonuses later, but for ME, I notice that if in the first level I get one of the two food bonuses, later I get more food than when I do not get any in the first level... so I just restart it when I do not get any. Also, I do not like using the slow down bonus, because make it harder for me to play when it is over. And in the earlier levels I try using the fast powerup, make it easy for me to get used to the speed.

One of the things that helps me the most is taking short breaks between levels. It gives my mind, eyes and hand a chance to relax which allows me to focus better on the next level.

Yes, double dares is just beat AAA and get both abigail and AAA's prize. If you pick Abi you only get abi's prize.
 
Teaming up is for the weekends, those are team challenges. You will have to pick a challenger (abi or AAA) and a teammate with the same challenger BEFORE sending your score, and you have to pick a teammate every weekend. You're not stuck one a teammate after one team challenge.

As far as I know (but I'm not the most active Daily Dare player) you have to pick between AAA and Abigail every day, and you can only challenge one of them per day. The trophy for AAA is indeed better, but you'll have to match his score every day, which can be tricky (I never even bother, I know I can't, so I often just go for which prize I like better: you can check the guide to see which prize comes with each of them).

I did not miss any of the days... and I only got one of the prizes... Changing the subject, does someone know what is the reward for using the dust on the eggs?

I don't read books on my computer or whatever. Sometimes I read articles, because it is my only option, but as some have said, my eyes hurt after a while, and sometimes I get headaches too. But even if I did not get those, I would not choose reading with an electronic device, it's hard to explain, but it is just not me. I only see two downsides to using a book, having to carry them, I don't mind carrying a few books, and that it means destroying trees... But instead of changing books for e-books or whatever, I would prefer finding a way to make a book with other materials that don't involve destroying nature. Some people have said other downsides as not being able to read in the dark, why would I want to read in the dark?, or the lack of space, unfortunatelly for me I cannot afford to buy books often, so I do not have that problem. Also I like to read outside, and I don't want to have to worry about battery, and I like to read near trees, in a nature enviroment, technology kind of spoils that. On top of that, I like to read in bed before I go to sleep, with a book when I finish I just shut the book, put it away and switch off the light, but with an Nook (or whatever device) I would have to turn it off and stuff, also I don't like sleeping near electronic devices, so I would have to get up to put it away... In any case, I vote to find a way to make books with friendly materials, so people can choose, because if I had to choose between using electronic books or not reading books at all, I would sadly choose the second option... What is the point of reading a book if I'm not enjoying it? I would feel like school/high school reading... No, thanks...

I don't find the appeal of e-books, because I am not capable of falling in love one. I can fall in love with my beautifully crafted hard back collection.
 
For me, there's just something more meaningful in holding a book in your hand. It's something I am able to really connect to, rather than just stare at. Besides the magic and the love I feel for holding it, it's just I don't like things like this being called 'useless.' Just because something is easier, more convenient, does not make the old thing better or obsolete. We're turning into a society where 'what's the point of going outside? You can just sit indoors and play on your tablet.' Books are the same for me. Plus it is actually very healthy to put down the electronics and do something that doesn't require batteries or a plug in on occasion. We're heading toward Wall-e land.
 
But not everyone has that special feeling. I wish everyone did, and people enjoyed actual books like I do, but it's just not reasonable to expect everyone to have that viewpoint. Still, I just don't ever want books or playing outside or talking to someone in person to be a thing of the past.

I hope paper books don't go away anytime soon. I have two boxes full of them and love every single one. I do have a e-reader a family member gave to me once but I've never used it, which I feel bad about but an actual book is more satisfying to me than anything digital. I like things old-fashioned though well kinda I guess. For instance, I would love to own a log cabin out in the woods somewhere or swim in a lake because I don't like the city at all I find it suffocating. So it's really up to opinion I guess.

I definitely agree that Blue Ray and DVDS are set to vanish, as are physical video games cartridges (much to my dismay). I like being control of what I own, and this new world brings this flaw: no longer will I be in control.
 
And please understand that I don't not embrace the digital world! It's not like I want to desperately hold onto something dying. It's merely a preference.
 
But books dying? Highly unlikely.
 
Think about this: Right now, you live in a privileged world. You can afford an E-Reader or a Kindle.
 
But there are millions upon millions of people who can't, and possibly never will. There's millions of people without internet, without computers, heck, without anything we have and consider essential. They don't even have electricity! And their numbers are much greater than our own.
 
The only tool they could turn to is books. And it'll be that way for many, many years. Also, people are still going to maintain/want to physical copies of things. It'll always be the "just in case" sort of thinking.
 
So, no. Books aren't in any danger of dying.

I really believe that paper books should and will keep going strong! Let's face it, not everyone is tech savvy and certainly not everyone has an E-reader or something like it. I think there will always be a population of people that will want paper books, even in our technological generation. Personally, I love my computer for Youtube, Facebook, Neopets:) etc.. But if I'm reading a book, it's because I don't want to stare at a computer screen. I do enough of that already, and a book is a nice break. I understand how they take up more space, kill more trees, and so on but I still think that books have a place in my world at least :D

I don't have any type of e-reader and have never purchased a digital book. Call me old fashioned - but I just love printed ones. I know there's benefits to electronic books, and I would use them for school if I needed to, but I don't think paper books will disappear any time soon!

I don't know much about it. But for the very few I have read... it does not sound like a good idea. Firstly there is evidence of danger to people health and to the environment... But there is also the tremors, this is not just that it bothers people, that must have some kind to impact to the Earth... And just because they don't know much about the effects, it does not mean there is none... In my opinion, knowing more about it, it will only increase the reasons why "not" to do it. Why do it?, because we will run out?, that will happen sooner or later, as people here said, instead of trying to last longer... look for a solution. Because it creates jobs?, I would imagine building solar panels and other methods of energy such wind power would generate jobs...

Then do you deny that fracking has environmental and health concerns? How do you refute the claims in articles such as this one (http://serc.carleton.edu/NAGTWorkshops/health/case_studies/hydrofracking_w.html), outlining the dangers in fracking?
 
I think it's irresponsible to say "take my word for it, fracking does nothing," when there's so much we don't know about it and it's only been used for a couple dozen years. We used to use DDT before we realized how detrimental that was on the environment. 
 
 

I have a feeling that it was intentional  :mellow: There are other Pastel pets that have 4 different colours, but all of their heads match their bodies. I think they should have either made the torso green along with the head (and kept the limbs pink/blue and the feet yellow), or get rid of the green entirely and stick with pink/blue/yellow.

I think the dimensional one is quite beautiful, but taking into account that is "dimensional"... I don't think that it have that shine the others have..
