It's been down for pretty much 9 months now... Can't believe it's not been fixed, it was supposed to be down "a week or so" after the transition!
 
I enjoyed playing it; I hope it returns soon and hopefully it may get more players back/fixing the economy... Plus it was my main source of income!

Brilliant, thanks for the information! :) Keyquest isn't back yet but it will be soon so I will now be able to use the free NC I was given to finally purchase a Pink Chomby token. Thanks for your help! :)

Edit: Bought the gift box capsule, and received a 150NC item and 2 gift boxes. Will buy a Pink Chomby (Keyquest token) when Keyquest is confirmed to be back. :) Thanks for your help!

They said (a few days before the site went down) that Keyquest would be down for about "a week" or so after the transition. Obviously that's way gone, it's now been over 3 months, so who knows?
 
 
 
 
Haven't had an update recently, I am hoping that TNT will at least give us some indication of how long it will take... I even said I would leave Neo if it wasn't up by the end of 2014 - well I'm still hoping and still no KQ. :(
 
 
 
My income has been reduced to virtually zero now thanks to the loss of KQ. I only started playing Habi for the last 2 months of it being running, but it was still a great game.

Yeah, just to echo Ruto and Anime, as long as you don't blatantly disregard the rules (say, spam on 20 topics at once, post links to harmful sites, anything against Neopets rules), you will hear from us first before any other, harsher action is taken.
 
Basically, a few mod edits here and there will likely not go anywhere if you've kept to the rules since your last infraction.
 
But if you're spamming 20 1-word posts consecutively, double posting, Necro-ing threads from 2009, all in one day, we'll likely be more inclined to give you an official warning, suspend posting privileges, or ban you.
 
We don't ban right away unless we think it's in the best interest of the community. We'd like to keep TDN safe and clean as much as we can :)
 
Something bothering you? Need help with anything? Any and all staff members will be happy to help, no matter what their department is. If they can't help you, they'll find someone who can! We're all working together to keep TDN wonderful. ;)

Let's say a question was posted in 2012, you decide to answer that question now, or want to chime in. Probably not the best to post on it anymore since 1) the original poster might not even be on the forums anymore and 2) they didn't post any follow up questions, there's no need to "answer" anything and it's best left alone.
 
If a thread's gone by a few months and you have something new to add, like a new release or it hasn't ever been brought up, it's still OK to post on.
We used to have a 21-day rule but that's been changed to allow new things to be posted on relevant threads. Anyway, if someone is unsure, a quick PM to one of the mods is no big deal and is always welcomed :)

I was thinking the same thing earlier today. Not only do I feel poor without my KQ income, but I feel kind of lost after I do my dailies. I don't know how to occupy my time without it, I guess.
 
And the BD just frustrates me. I just would like to know if I've gotten all my prizes without refreshing my inventory!!

I'm still ever so patiently waiting for the Key Quest game to start working after the transition. I'm happy that Most things are working. Battledome is annoying with the lagging, but at least we can still play.

I know a better way to losing 500k in 20 minutes! Spinning the wheel of extravagance xD
Yeah, I've given up on the charity corner event.

The aim of Keyquest is basically to be the first person to collect the required amount of keys in game, then head to the exit door.
By 5 key games, I mean the amount of different coloured keys that you need to collect before heading through the door and finishing the game.
The more keys you play for, the better your prizes will be. :)
 
When the game finishes, you will be awarded a prize key (either gold, silver, bronze or lead) - this will be dependant on (a) how well you played in game (i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th) and (b) how many keys you opted to collect for the game (i.e. 2 keys, 3 keys, 4 keys or 5 keys)
 
You can play as many games as you want to, per day, but you will only be able to redeem 10 prize keys per day. So my advice would be to play at least 10 games a day, that way you can stockpile on prizes (and then redeem them at a later date).
 
The amount of keys that you play for in game determines what colour your prize key will be.
Gold keys give the most prizes and lead keys give the least.
 
If you play 5 key games (i.e. collecting 5 different colour keys before finishing the game) this will give you the best chance to get the best possible prize key (i.e. a gold key)
 
When Keyquest starts working again, best thing to do is go through the tutorial on how to play - also, if you want to play a game with me, send me a Neomail to see if I'm available :)

You might have some luck on the Trading Post boards, or try some battling. I got 9 codestones and 1 dubloon off the Muatant Walein today :O
 
The glitches were bearable at first, but we're nearing a week after the transition and...I just wish everything would be sorted soon.

As ever some extra communication from TNT would be so valuable right now, even if it was to say - today we are going to try to fix .... and at the end of the day tell us how it went, it would take minutes and reassure so many

As stated, it'll probably be down for about a week once the site's back up, so don't worry if it's not immediately available.

I strongly advise you NOT to use the Shop Wizard on your side for anything, even buying food. You can easily go on the NeoLodge and put your pet in for 28 days where they will be fed so you remove the need to constantly buy food on your side.
 
If you insist on buying food for your pet, Neopets allows you to use multiple profiles/browsers to log in to both your main and side account simultaneously to make it easier to transfer items.

Here's an editorial question that will probably clear it up:

So yes, you CAN use the 2,500 NP on your new side account to maintain it, that's what it's there for. However, it is discouraged to go "hunting" for cheap items on side accounts (why not do it from your main?)

To sum up side accounts: You can not use them to earn any NP/items through games, dailies, restocking, sniping, etc. You CAN move NP from your main account to your side account in order to have NP to feed your pets or put them in the NeoLodge. Anything else will have to come from your main account. Any NP you inevitably get from Random Events can be kept on your side. Any Items you earn from Random Events can be sent to your main account to be sold.
