I think it should be legalised for medical use only. As in prescribed by a specialist doctor, not free for any person who feels it will benefit them.
 
As a nurse I've seen both the good and bad sides of marijuana. And as much as people say marijuana has never killed anyone and doesn't have side effects, they're wrong. What happens when you take a drug? You lose your inhibitions, you can hallucinate and be completely unaware of your surroundings and self. I've seen plenty of cases of where kids have been under the influence of marijuana and only that and have stepped in front of cars.
 
It's silly to ever compare cigarettes, alcohol and drugs. They all are detrimental to the body and affect different areas (e.g. smoking harms the lungs throat, mouth and nose; alcohol liver and kidney; and drugs most potently the brain). I don't think that every person out there should have access to marijuana because look at where we are now with cigarettes and alcohol. We all know that eventually too much will kill us, but they will never be banned from society because of the tax benefits the government get and the fact they keep raising the tax on them and reaping more benefits from people's abuse of cigarettes and alcohol (I'm speaking for Australia here as we are constantly being given more and more increases on tax for legal substances).
 
Ultimately, yes marijuana should be legalised, but for medical uses only. Putting a drug substance out there that does have side effects without a control is asking for chaos.
 
Btw I just want to say I have smoked marijuana several times in my teens and it's a bit hypocritical of me, but nursing has opened my eyes to my naivety that any drug, cigarette or drink could be 'safe'.

I feel like this all the time! I'm 20 years old and only my best friend knows because she use to play it obsessively when she was younger.
I considered when I was around 17 in giving it away and I did for a little while, but then I came straight back. Neopets has a hold on me I cannot shake. It's your choice whether or not to give it up, but people sometimes don't realise that neopets isn't just a child's game. There is so much strategy behind what you do and it's all about achieving set goals. The adult community is so active and widespread.
Hope you decide to stay! But I completely understand the feelings of "being too old" for neopets!

I think it's absolutely ridiculous that politics and religion can have any say in the love between two people. If people want to show there love to one another through a union and have the same rights as everyone else then they are more then welcome to and this is where humanity disgusts me that they can still be so prejudiced about gay marriage and the like in today's 21st century.
 
My brother is gay and he has been in a committed relationship with his boyfriend 8 times longer then any relationship I've ever had. It frustrates me that I could I just run off with the very first boy I'm come across in the street, but my brother who has been with his partner for so many years cannot get married. The world needs to stop having these outdated views and get fully into the 21st century and acknowledge that everyone has rights!

I know a few mall shop owners and I do know their stocks move quite a bit during the day/week.
 
They are basically making money off new members/members that don't know to refresh the SW to get the lowest prices. If you notice, their shops are huge (size 1000+) that lets their shops show up at the top of the market (if you go to the Neopian Marketplace) and they have Ads posted on the Ad Board. This takes advantage of those who don't have much experience in buying from user shops, and also those people who don't want to bother having to SW quest items and just have shops bookmarked for one-stop shopping,

I watch them all, and I think they're hilarious. Some of the jokes can be offensive to people, but I don't get offended by them. It's all in good nature for a laugh and I don't think it's hurting anyone.

Definitely get another dog. She sounds like she really needs attention and bringing a new puppy into the family will give her something to do as well. I was in the same situation a few years ago, but with my cats. I'd had Bella and Banjo for years and they were so close, and in the middle of winter I found Bella had drowned in the neighbours pool. I kept finding Banjo sitting on the little hill that overlooked the neighbours pool just watching it for hours and hours. He wouldn't eat or interact with us, so I took him to the vet and the vet diagnosed him with depression and said the best thing for him would be to get a new little kitten. I was outraged at the time because it had only been two weeks since Bella had passed and I was still mourning the loss, but as I was leaving the vets there was a cage of dumped kittens and there was an absolute tiny one that caught my eye. In the moment, I rescued her and brought her home. Banjo didn't like the new addition Annie at all, but it got him eating when she tried to eat his food and got him interacting with us because he didn't want her to have the attention. Now, a few years later their best friends and do everything together. I think it was the best decision even though it was really soon after the sudden loss of Bella.

I can't really form an opinion on it yet, since I just started it, but I've enjoyed all of the previous Private books. (Okay, I think I've only read one, Private Games, but it was good.)
 
 
I just finished Zoo about a week ago. I really enjoyed it. I thought it had a really unique plot.
 
I'm going to look into 12-21. I love books like that as well.

I'm also looking for a new guild.
Preferably one for older neopians (18 / 21+).

As a person who lives within an apartment, I do not want to smell your stinky pot smoke. I shouldn't have to. Unfortunately, people really don't care if it bothers the people. Same thing with the smoking thing. I know it's the person's right and yadda, yadda, yadda, but I wish that laws could be enforced to protect other's within public buildings.
 
And yes, weed is not as dangerous as cigarette smoke. I'm aware of this. I'm also aware my situation is a unique and complicated one. Weed is a drug, be realistic. Anything which alters you inhibitions is a drug. This includes alcohol, which is a liquid drug and much worse than weed.
 
I don't smoke weed because I don't smoke anything. I don't want anything heading into my lungs; even if it doesn't cause cancer, it still irritates them. If weed wasn't something that needed to be smoked, I would be totally pro-legalizing it. I'd also like better tests to detect when people are driving and smoking it. You should never be getting high and driving; it slows you down.
 
So, legalize it, tax the heck out of it, but enforce some policies to ensure people aren't driving around with it in their systems.

I'm really on the fence here. If it isn't legalized it can't be controlled, but if it is legalized the government(s) will want to put a tax on it, and the users (to avoid the tax) will still buy it from the streets, possibly with other drugs mixed in(or used to cut it or something)

Awwww! They're adorable!!
