congrats on finally ending Tyrannia's streak!! you guys did awesome and made a lot of peoples dreams come true :P good luck versus Altador today, you guys will do great!

This bracket is really sapping away my energy/willpower/sanity. More red, and now we get to fight Tyrannia (hopefully for the last time this AC). Well, I wish everyone luck. I will definitely be maxing something, although I'm not quite sure what. Any suggestions (I'm considering YYB, but looking at their scores today, I'm not sure it's a good idea)?

Hehe. On the neoboards SK and RI formed an alliance called RISK. Hopefully we can continue it on TDN.

I hope we can end our bracket with a sweep so we can have a bracket where we are undefeated!

So proud of RI. I wish we had focused exclusively on sides; I had a feeling YYB was an uphill battle, and we might have been able to take SS (and maybe MSN) too had we shifted our focus. But still, that 10 was incredible. BV is going to be tough today -- I'm definitely not going to slack off (tempting though it would be)!
 
I think Maraqua will "upset" Meridell if they give their all -- Meridell is looking rather weak this round, and I have no idea why they (or Maraqua for that matter) are ranked ahead of TM for the round.

I don't know. They have dedicated players but might be getting some "help" from an ASG.

As am i. Where did this sudden burst of strength come from? Well i guess there are a lot of All-star in TM so, Congratulations! (thank goodness it wasn't like that in 1st Bracket) :P

Something is seriously wrong with the bracket system. I play for DC and we have had a pretty fair year. KI AND RI however have had a very difficult time while meridel has been on easy street. I wanted to see the results for my self so I added up all the points from the matches and ordered them from first to last then compared it to the actual results. This is what I ve got since June 13. TY has 428 total and should be in first with altador in second with 372. In the actual results meridel is in 3rd but should be in 7th with 252 points. RI is in 4th but should be in 3rd with 288 points. Surprisingly Tm should be in 4th with 258 but they re in 10th! What's up with that! KI is in 4th but should be fifth with 255 followed by DC with 253. The rest of the results are pretty scattered. MO should be in 15! Come on TNT the places are way off!

When we share a bracket without Tyrannia or Altador we will find out who truly deserves 3rd place since we got cheated out of 1st or 2nd. It will be epic... but wait are there 4 rounds or 5? i heard there would be 5 but i don't know. lately you guys have been playing like a good team rather than an unbeatable one so i dub thee my new target! :P Oh yea and good job with the victory over Haunted Woods today. We were fortunate to face them before there rise and you guy's dealt with them at there prime (i suppose, who am i to judge), so good job! :thumbsup:

Unfortunately, the bracket system is supposed to be "random." But when you have 2 and 3 teams who are constantly in the same bracket or, moreso, 2 teams consistently in the same bracket but never playing each other, it starts to seem a little fishy. Maybe we're all conspiracy theorists and the brackets so far are purely coincidence due to the random nature (small chances, but not impossible), or maybe they are a little less random than TNT claims they are.
 
I can understand why so little information (read: next to none) about the brackets and the scoring can be publicly released, though. If we knew the exact algorithms and methods by which things were done, it would only be a matter of time before people found ways to exploit them, both by tailoring legitimate methods of playing, as well as not-so-legitimate methods. I really just wish the tournament would go back to the round robin style. I think being able to play every team the same amount of times would provide much clearer, more accurate standings than this mish-mosh of a bracket system.

I agree, the brackets do seem kind of rigged.

So then TM/MQ and FL/MT are the only ones who have actually faced each other each time so far? And if RI and AL don't face each other this round, then something is definitely up.
 
Edit: I just looked at the brackets for the first time today. I'm glad TM is in third and I guess it makes some sense that we're behind Meridell and our rivals, Maraqua, because they've done better than us overall up until the last couple days. However, it doesn't really make any sense that MI is fourth in their bracket when they've had easily the worst run of the tournament. Unless we start seeing a lot more green on their results (when HW climbed out of last place in the first bracket it was when they started making a comeback), then something's not right.

I'll always root for my team, Moltara, but for teams that could actually win...I'm rooting for Roo Island. I think Tyrannia will win though unless TNT did something about [Removed].

It would be the funniest moment of the AC for me. xD TM's YYB power is spectacular. I wouldn't be surprised seeing them beat TY in it.

I think that we let out guard down on SK so we have a dent in MSN. :P All of us are playing heaps of YYB today.
