I went to Houston's Protest on Tuesday. I couldn't keep silent about George Floyd's death and the many, TOO MANY, other deaths of people of color. Pictured here his family leading our protest- Gianna Floyd-his 6 year old daughter and her mother Roxie Washington . Don't be silent. If you see someone being mistreated, stop-pull out your phone, and let them know that they are going to be held accountable for what they are doing.

This is my way of transitioning from being a student to being a working adult. (I'm an adult now)

A bit late, but Happy Canada Day to any Canadian members here!

As of today, I am retiring from social media due to personal problems and for the sake of my mental health. This is not a decision I take lightly. I will still be active on forums (including this one) and IRC channels though.

I literally never have less patience than when I'm waiting for someone to accept or deny a Trading Post offer. I WANT IT SO BAD. I AM A TODDLER AND I WANT THE THING. PLEASE LET ME HAVE NOW IMMEDIATELY RIGHT NOW PLEASE YES?

I would like to recommend a documentary (TDN doesn't ban this word, right?) movie found on Hulu that is based on a book by the same title: Far From the Tree. A man who found himself to be what society and his family deemed to be "not normal" and he wanted to look at other families with a child with different challenges (which also causes society/families to label these differences as "not normal") and it was very eye-opening for me to be able to see these different ppl and see their life experiences and I hope that I learned to accept ppl as they are, to respect them as they are and not try to hold them to society's standards to feel that these "differences" should be changed to make these ppl "fit in" or be "normal". I admired that the man who wrote this book and made this movie did not only focus on his "difference" but looked at many different families with a child not seen by society (and some times their families) as "normal".

Social interaction has been draining too much lately (for personal reasons/reasons I already mentioned publicly ) -- so I'm going to take it slow and reply when I feel able enough. I know you guys won't be going anywhere. Thank you for being patient and kind to me!

Hi all. ♥ My replies to things will probably be very slow -- I've been feeling extremely sick lately and bad mood shifts. (Just a quick update).

My allergies are so horrible lately -- and thankfully it's just that. (Had testing done from home -- don't trust going out to places unless it's an emergency/important).

Going to be busy for a few days -- I believe. (Just a tiny post since I talk to a few people regularly on here, don't want them to worry/think I left the site)!

This is what's happening on my campus. Gov. Abbot is arresting students for speaking out against the violence happening to Palestinnians. So much for freedom of speech. I am not being anti - semitic for pointing out what the Israeli Military is proudly posting , I do not believe that all Israelis are supporting these horrible brutal and careless acts of violence. Why is our governor keen on arresting students instead of putting our tax dollars into escrow so we can make sure we are not paying for weapons (US law forbids a country to use US aid to purchase weapons)? If we're not allowed to post current news here on TDN, I apologize and will take the consequences. I am just letting others know what is going on in my life right now.

Why can't I sleeeeeep! It's 3:24 AM where I am! AAA better not have a grudge against me!
