All his life he was called Monkey. Mom called him a Monkey-Dunkey-Dee to make it playful and not mean. Doug’s favorite beloved toy was his Zippy Monkey. Zippy lived years having adventures in and out of the house. He climbed trees with Doug, rode the tricycle, and later the bike. He could be belted onto things and ridden or driven or flown. Sometimes it was fun to crash Zippy. For our family Zippy was a real person, adventurous and fearless. Someone once fed him a real banana, which was difficult to clean out of his open mouth. Zippy was a comfort to Doug when he as sick or injured, like when Doug went flying off his bike and landed on his face! Finally the day came that Zippy could barely go thru the wash machine without disintegrating so Mom put him up in the “toy hall of fame” where our favorite toys retired. Mom probably still has Zippy. RIP Zippy. RIP Doug." #8 AppaMomoFairy Princess Usuki Animation link: http://impress.openneo.net/outfits/1973604 "Make a wish as Fairy Princess Usuki waves her magic wand, and see how life can be as enchantingly magical as a fairy tale." aleu1986
Such cute and fun entries this round.. That Chucky entry made me laugh, I love that TNT made that outfit! Always nice to see someone use an UC pet - I considered that as well. Love the story for number 7, and the Fairy Princess Usuki is so cute! You can tell everyone had fun playing with this theme. jellysundae
I never managed to enter this round, zero inspiration. I've had some NOW, lol, but if I'd had that in a timely fashion and managed to enter it would have been another low-scoring round for me I think. What's just popped into my head was a little girl after getting into mummy's make-up... if I could recreate that on DTI the net result wouldn't have been pretty. I seem almost averse to pretty entries, it's very rare that I manage to create one, and I'm nearly always drawn more to ones that aren't aiming for that either. @Angeló's was my favourite this time around. The "Knives sold separately." caption was the icing on the cake with that. Also. FreakyBowie, Nielo and Angeló 1 1
Angeló
@jellysundae thank you for voting I don't like "fluffy pretty pink things" either , but I'm a guy so ... I totally missed that Toy Story reference . Now that I see it , I would've voted for @FreakyBowie ! FreakyBowie and jellysundae

FreakyBowie
@Angeló @jellysundae Thanks guys! Toy Story, and Pixar movies in general, have a special place in my heart. They're just the best. I'd like to point out that the only reason that I didn't vote for @Angeló entry was that I didn't think it resembled childhood (unless you watched horror movies as a kid xD which it was not my case) but I loved it. It's a very creative entry!

AppaMomo
Thanks everyone who voted for me! My entry was inspired by a doll I had as a child, she had a crown and a wand. And congrats to the other winners! Loved the Toy Story reference Thanks Nielo for extending the entry period for the next round, the past week has been so hectic! Happy New Year everyone!
