alohadiscordia
this is helpful, thanks. I was wondering how to get those to work. While I do have a computer that's running Win 10, I'm mostly on my chromebook these days (running chrome OS, based off of linux), so I'll give the chrome add-on method a try first. Did not even know something like this existed :) Is there any special reason why one would want to play these shockwave games by the way? They do count towards that game collector avatar right, but can you still reach the required 250 high-scores without having played these shockwave games? MysteryAF
I followed every step (I'm on Windows 10). Every time I try to launch a Shockwave game, I get this: Well thanks for trying, I guess.
Scoobert_Doo
Actually, not sure where you heard those rumors, but, Shockwave reached end of support April 9, 2019 - https://helpx.adobe.com/shockwave/shockwave-end-of-life-faq.html. Adobe no longer supports the Shockwave plugin, and you cannot download it, or any older versions from there. I, also, posted how to play Shockwave games a few years ago, here: So, give both a try. Post questions, if you have any. And since OP didn't mention, please note: Using/installing outdated plugins, like Shockwave, can put your computer's security at risk, so use at your own risk! @Angeló, it should work on Windows 7, too. It's been awhile, but I believe Windows 7 does have Internet Explorer 11. There are also pet pages, on Neopets, here, for Windows: http://www.neopets.com/~LilianFairweather http://www.neopets.com/~baerrita And this pet page is for Macs, Linux, and Windows too. Basically, you run a virtual sessions of Windows within Mac OS X, Linux, Windows. All items listed are free, and lists the same link OP provided for downloading Shockwave version 10.1.3.018: http://www.neopets.com/~x0_Casper_0x jellysundae and alohadiscordia 1

MysteryAF
I already did all of that, it didn't work. I even tried it a second time to the same result, that dialog box pops up and I can't play.

Which Shockwave game did you try? I seem to have better luck with Hannah and the Pirate Caves. Once it works with HaTPC, try a different Shockwave game. However, in some cases, you may have to refresh the page - the pop-up game window. Also, try clearing IE's cache (temporary Internet files), and see if it helps. A reboot may help, too.
