Saxen
I wanted to play pretty much exclusive Slushie Slinger this AC, as that's where my team (Maraqua obvs ;D) seems to be lacking the most according to recent years, but the game is so long! I played three games, making sure that for each one I fed the correct slushie to each customer, and calculated the average time: It was 2.43 minutes for just over 300 points which is needed for it to actually count. YYB is 3 minutes for 1 rank point, whereas you have to play two games of Slushie Slinger for a rank point. Am I the only one who thinks this is a bit, y'no, crap? AgJu
not really....YYB is the main game so of course it'll carry the most weight. Although from what i've seen, SS isn't a terribly popular sidegame anyway cuz of how long it can take.
Xepha
You are not the only one, that's why I advise you start playing Super Slushie. (Go play MSN or SOSD while customer are lining up.) Saxen, Clumsy rockyroad1 and siniri
Saxen
Thanks Xepha that's a really good tip! I'll definitely be doing that from now on :)
Spritzie
I wish there was a way to make it worth more, but I understand YYB needs to be worth the most, so it's worth the most it can be, down from YYB. That said, Slushie Slinger is definitely my favorite AC game, it's just very time consuming when rank is the goal. When fun is the goal, it's my go-to game because I find it fun and relaxing. Saxen
I understand why it is the way it is in regard to rank points, but I do wish that they would reduce the score needed so each game could be around two minutes long. I would have loved to rank up purely with SS but I just don't think that's possible, it would take so much time!
xonceinadream
I was just thinking about this last night when I played my first couple of games. It's fun to me but I feel like it's not a good use of my time when I could be playing YYB. I really like the idea of playing one of the other games while waiting for customers. I'll start doing that. siniri
The first few levels of SS are so slow, you might as well multitask. I can usually get 1.5 YYB equivalents in during a game of SS by playing MSN and SOSD while waiting. I start the game, then play 2 MSN and 2-3 SOSD, then go slushify by row. I leave the slinger to collect the rest of the glasses of the last row (usually the short row), then go play more MSN and SOSD. Each time I play fewer of each side game as SS speeds up. I wish there were an option to start SS on like level 6 or so; that would speed it up too.
AgJu
i wish they would either lower the minimum score a bit or raise the point values a bit.
hrtbrk
The people who play two at the same time are insane, yet magical. Like.. HOW DO hanalways, .Brianna. and Frenchie
Xepha
It's not really that hard :P Leave some sound on, and count the secondary games as you play Clumsy rockyroad1
Saxen
It's 285?? I read on TDN's SS guide that it was 300 - now I'm confused xP
Secre
If I'm playing Slushie Slinger I can usually fit five-seven games of SOSD into the game so I can gain a couple of additional points (three right at the start, go clear up slushies, another two SOSD, go clear up slushies and then a couple single games as well)...but yes, the amount of time it takes is hugely offputting. Particularly when you lose 8 seconds per goal scored in YYB meaning if you're decent enough at the game you can reduce that three minute slot immensely...
