It actually made me a little nervous when I stared at the eye too long -- according to my parents, I chased a peacock around the zoo when I was two, until it got fed up and showed me its full feathered display (which is pretty terrifying when you're that small and it's in your face). So I guess being on eye-level with one again brought back subconscious memories! Quote
