@Will

Yeah.

You start out as a cell, then go to creature, then you form a tribe, start a civilization(In a command and conquestish style) and take over your planet, then go to space. Currently, I am in space and I started yesterday evening. /no life

Oh, the DS version sucks in comparison. And it has alot of glitches. I never finshed because theres a glitch on mine at the end that dosen't let me finish a quest that I need to advance.

I didn't realize there was a DS version. My husband will probably really want that. He couldn't get the PC version to run on his laptop with Vista. (Though he might try again now that he has Windows 7.)

Never played spore, I don't do much PC gaming, I only play PC games when I absolute need to, or am recommended too.

I'd say the same here, I'm not a PC gamer anyway. For online games, only Neopets; but for everything else, I'm more of an NES person myself.

NES and SNES games are awesome. I still like to play both. Most of the games I buy now are PC games, thanks to Steam. If it wasn't for their huge selection, great prices, and easy downloads, I'd almost never play games outside of Neopets.

PC, PS, PS2, N64, Nintendo Handheld Systems (Up to the NDSL). I play a lot of games. Besides my online games, that is. Age of Empires (all but AOE 3) and their expansions, Age of Mythology and it's expansion, the entire Sims 1 collection, Most of the Sims 2 collection (still collecting), Sims 3 (minus a couple things, because they're putting them out so fast I can't afford to keep up), Pharaoh and Cleopatra Expansion, Sim Cities (various), Sim Tower, ROME, Gothic 3, Sacred, StarCraft (and brood wars exp), and quite a few more I can't remember for computer games...

Then we have the Final Fantasy series, the Burnout Racing series, a bunch of Karaoke Games, Mark of Kri (and sequel), Champions of Norrath and sequel, and quite a few more for PS and PS2.

And I won't bother listing my Nintendo Handheld games, because I have probably 250+. Most of them were downloaded, but I plan on buying the ones I like sooner or later.

I used to play Age of Empires, Age of Mythology & The Sims! Good stuff. Civilisation was good too. My boyfriend and I got quite excited when we found Civilisation on PS3 because it claimed to have multiplayed co-op, but then it seemed not to have local co-op, bah. They were a good style of game though, and I remember that some of the cut scenes on Civilisation on PC (I can't remember what number) were amazing. Happy days!

My husband has been playing a lot of AOE and AOM recently. As well as StarCraft 2 and Far Cry.

The most recent games I've played was Maple Story, Diablo 2, and Roller-coaster Tycoon.

the last game I played on PC was a horror game called Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Survival horror games are my favourite!

I've played the demo for Amnesia: Dark Descent. It was really good, so I bought it during Steam's Holiday Sale. It is sitting on my computer, begging me to play it. I played its predecessor, the Penumbra trilogy, over Christmas holidays, and I'm still trying to psych myself up to playing Amnesia.

I've also been wanting to have a Silent Hill marathon for a while. I'm just waiting for SH: Homecoming to go on awesome sale on Steam, so that I'll have all the games.

it's scary, really scary

portal 2 is what I'm looking forward to in the PC gaming world

Portal 2 is at the top of my wishlist on Steam. I'm really looking forward to playing it. The original Portal game was absolutely amazing. *is suddenly craving cake*

He wasn't 'that' old, but I will agree that he was older. Definitely gave us some good reading while he was here with us. I feel as though I should read one of his books now in his memory. I even have a neopet named after a character from this books. The Taggerung that I hope will one day become a Lutari so he will look like an otter.

I found out about that via facebook...I'm so sad :sad02: I loved the Redwall series :(

It snowed here a bit, which was nice, but it stopped and there wasn't too much :/
