Syn-Chan
Sure, feel free to call me that. Xepha does, everyone else does, so it's fine. XD It's my alias, anywho.
Revenge
What about Dracula? Bram Stoker anyone? That's not just a vampire book, it's the vampire book. It's what started the vampire legend. Even with originality at its best, every portrayal of vampires should be based on this book. It just doesn't come out right otherwise. :sad01_anim:
Syn-Chan
Thanks, Revenge. That's another reason why I find Twilight so repulsing. Though it is also the fact of the hype that has followed. I was one of the first to read Twilight at school. -groan-
Stephé
Yeah, dracula... But Twilight stole the legends away, poor dracula... I've never heard of bram Stoker. Can someone explain?
Syn-Chan
And slaughtered the role of blood thirsty vampires to love-sick vampires and imprinting werewolves. Bram Stoker made the book Dracula. Died age 64, but I'm sure you don't care. XD;; -shrug-
Stephé
Interesting... Are you tired of this topic Synnie? Its either vampires or trigonometry-- my maths homework.
Revenge
She did mention werewolves. How about werewolves? They're awesome. b)
Stephé
Werewolves....... you know they don't mention werewolves until the second book. Anyone know how to find the size of an acute angle and turn it into degrees AND minutes? I'm getting really confused with this stuff
Revenge
Trigonometry... I'm only on Algebra 2. Which is actually pretty good for a freshman, but I still can't help... I don't care when they appeared in that book. I just think werewolves are cool. If there were any good costumes nearby, it's what I would have been for Halloween. Maybe next year... Stephé
But in that book, they just happened to turn into werewolves, just because of their ancestors...meh Wait, so is 12 too young to learn Trig?
Revenge
You're 12? That's awesome, but seriously, most schools over here don't teach that till grade 10 or 11, and I'm in 9th grade. I can't help. :(
Stephé
Actually, I get tutored. School maths is---- forever. I feel beat. Its just too much to learn in such a small amount of time...*sigh* I knew there was no rush for this subject. And now- I'm confuzzled
Revenge
Confuzzled... that word is spreading out so fast... I wonder when it'll be accepted in the dictionary...? Yeah, if there's no rush, just take a break. Rest is best for a maths test.
Stephé
I use that word regularly in my conversation vocab ^_^ Yeah, I guess....*sleeps on piles of cheese* Uh....you didn't see that. *runs away*
Revenge
Gasp! That random pile of cheese probably belongs to Morgan! :O Quick, hide before she finds out you touched it!
Stephé
But I didn't!!! I got it from the dump.... :* Man, I feel guilty *throws bits of cheese away* Well, I better go. Maths awaits me......
Syn-Chan
Good bye. And yes, I'm afraid the topic did grow boring for me. And since I do terribly at math, that wasn't very appetizing for me to join in on.
Unstream
Alright we'll see ya later! So, on the topic of werewolves... Where did they originate from? Personally I've never found them fascinating in any way...
Ruto
*throws bits of cheese away* Excuse me? What did you just do? I'm gonna have to take you into custody, Stephanie.
Unstream
Lol I love cheese. My favorite would be cheddar, but spicy cheese is alright. I don't really like Swiss or American cheeses. Wait.... Are they the same thing?
Revenge
Are we really going into the different types of cheeses? Really? Come on. Though I forgot the name, I once tasted the best tasted cheese in the nation (officially). I was only supposed to take one piece, but I snuck in a few more. :shiftyeyes_anim:
Syn-Chan
Hm... I'm still trying to remember when Rosy is returning. I'm not a friend of cheese, considering it made me vomit. I'll eat pizza, sure, nothing more.
Revenge
I gots nothing to add! So I say the topic is free for anything right now! Crunchy squaggle toothpaste lalalala!
Unstream
Haha yeah not much to say... Sooo... Does anyone else think the boards are really slow today? I mean I've been checking them every 30 minutes and almost every time there's not a single new post...
Revenge
Yeah. But I've come to know that this place is generally quieter during the weekends. People are off doing things... you know, having lives and all. It'll be back to normal Monday, I bet. This happens weekly. It is inevitable, just most people have plans today. In fact, if all goes well, I'll be off for a while too. I'm gonna try to see if I can persuade my parents to help me buy GHWT. If that works I'll be gone all day today.
