It becomes evident later when it tries to climb a tree but breaks off the branch instead. The ray has increased its level to: 3 Main Pet: The ray is fired at Sootax... ... and she changes colour to Halloween!! (Woot, best Kougra zap I've ever gotten and now UFA next month.) Side Petpet: Your eyes recover quite quickly after the giant explosion, but that's more than you can say for your Petpet. The Kookith is kind enough to sweep up El Champion for you and you head home. (But he already was a pile of soot.. <_<) Side Pet: The ray is fired at Tonuhan... ... and he changes gender!!!! (Geez, another gender change? I'd prefer a different species or color.) When it can't even climb the Multi-level Scratching Post you bought it, you realize that malfunctioning lab ray actually decreased its level to: 1 Side Pet: The ray is fired at Tonuhan... ...and he changes colour to Fire!! I don't use the Petpet ray anymore, well, at least until I'm done with all the avatar petpets I have attached right now; after it killed one of my petpets I don't trust it anymore..
