Man, I've been so lazy! Lots I could dump from past rounds, but here are some of my favorite alt entries (some not quite as recent):

Aww you guys, these are all great. Look at our Neopets being all professional.

Hmm let's see if I have any deranged ideas:

• Looking Like 100/100K Neopoints: Dress up a Neopet to look like 100 OR 100K Neopoints/Neocash (so either super tacky or expensive-looking)
• 100 Rounds Old Party: Dress an elderly Neopet for a 100 Rounds Party!
• 100-year Time Warp: Dress a Neopet like the time traveled either 100 years to the past OR 100 years into the future

LOL nice. I always wanna call him the "Pants" Devil instead of "Pant" Devil. 

But anyways, yeah. I love that some of these look almost exactly like the card, and I also love the more creative approaches. No clue which to vote for!

@jellysundae Okay, wow. I had never seen/heard that "Comin' On" video, and that's truly a work of art. Thank you for that gift XD Now I'm just gonna send you stupid music videos. LOL

@jellysundae LOL yes, exactly that! I've found a bunch of the Jock Jams CDs, too. But yeah, you might know or like only one song, but even if not, but the CD was only like a dollar.

And mix CDs! I have this weird obsession with picking up stupid compilation CDs at thrift stores, like, "Club Mix '97" or "TrAnCe OdYsSeY!" It's kinda a hilarious snapshot in time. Usually they're pretty terrible, but sometimes surprisingly awesome.

Ooh, I don't even know which ones to choose! Honestly, they're all spot-on. 

I so wanted to do Scumbag Steve, but holy cats, there are about 2 backwards hats that I could find, and it just didn't work out. I also kinda thought about doing Socially Awkward Penguin as socially awkward Bruce. Poor lil' feller-- so relatable.

@jellysundae Oh my gosh, that's one of the ultimate best memes. And I'm with you there. I'm in my late 20s, and already feel like an old fart who can't keep up with kids these days. I'll probably go for a bit of an older one too.

Beat me to it! Yeah, I second that it would be worthwhile to have people include an example of their meme with their submission. Especially since there's so many/not all of us will get the references. So for example business cat:

These are excellent! Especially love lil' Pinocchio. 

I really wanted to do Princess and the Pea, but Neopets has a surprising lack of wearable pea-related items. And then I thought, hmm, maybe use a Pea Chia and work around that. Didn't work out. Maybe he'll go in Alt Entries sometime, LOL.

HAH. Love this. It's like the designer version versus the knock-off. I have almost exclusively NP clothing items on the site, so I'm not... knocking it. Ba dum. This will be fun!

Thanks guys! My boyfriend and I try to set aside Sundays as a "get stuff done" day. A weekend or two ago, we were doing some painting touch-up. All too real. 

I definitely have more alternate entries to post at some point. I actually did do a Babaa one too, haha. This round was great-- agreed.

I kinda liked these eyes for AAA. Just suits him, haha.

I tried AAA, but couldn't find hair I liked/was feeling uninspired. Maybe it's time to post up some alternate entries soon

@jellysundae  Honestly Ren Faires are equally dorky and awesome. I go to this one every year.

Some highlights:

• Amazing food-- I always get a giant turkey leg (I was sad there wasn't a handheld Neopets item of a drumstick/meat of some kind)
• Tons of people dress up, and there are also lots of employees there that remain completely in-character 
• People can pay to throw tomatoes at a guy (just his head is sticking out of a cut-out in a wall), and as the thrower is trying to hit him, the guy throws out really clever insults based on his observations of that person
• Every day of the fair has a full schedule of stage shows, jousting, falcon demonstrations, etc. 
• And then, yeah, the fact that inevitably you end up picking the hottest and sunniest day of the year to go, and end the day with heat exhaustion and a sunburn XD
