Hi all,
A couple of us TDN'ers have put our heads together and come up with a guild that we hope to use to benefit Neopians of all shapes and sizes.
 
Our guild, The Kindness Project, is aiming to help Neopians achieve their goals and have some wishes granted.  The idea came about because we both love being part of the Wishlist gifting threads at Christmas time (and other various times of the year) and we thought, "Well, what if we could do some more gifting, all year round?"
 
We've been setting up our staff, coding our pages, and, just like Santa Claus, making our lists and checking them twice.  Well, more than twice usually!
 
Now we would like to place an open call for general members!!!  These are not Council positions; you won't have to take any responsibility for the running of the guild.  All you have to take responsibility for is sharing some generosity and having some fun.
 
This is what our guild is about:
We here at TKP are dedicated to spreading joy all over Neopia! The idea of our guild was created between 2 people when we were sharing our visions of helping other neopet players achieve their dreams. We have always found extreme joy in bringing happiness to others and we figured a guild could help us to do this so much more effectively. What we seek out to do is to monthly grant 1 large wish and several small wishes for randomly chosen Neopian's.
 
So, if you also like helping others and are into gifting, come and join us!  The more the merrier and the bigger we are, the more wishes we'll be able to grant!

This guild is not just for people who like to give.  This guild is also for people who would like a bit of help in getting some of the stuff they're saving for. 
 
Say you're collecting stamps.  There are some VERY expensive stamps out there. 
 
Well, as a member, you have the opportunity to put in up to two requests a month for those big ticket items out there that might seem like far off dreams.  While there is no guarantee that your request would be granted that month, you can't be in the running to have the chance to have your request granted if you aren't a member.
 
So.  Got a pet who's read all the books under 150K and the jump in price is crippling you?  Take a chance on us.
Got a pet whose gourmet food cravings are breaking the bank?  See if we can help.
Got a pet who would look amazing if only he was painted a different colour?  Ask us for that paint brush.
Trying to get those final pieces for your gallery but the budget just won't stretch that far?  Talk to us.
 
Join up, and put in a request.  Let us see what we can do to help you!
 
And maybe, down the track, you'll be able to help us help someone else to reach their goal too.

I'm not in the position to be a staff member for many reasons (account not that old, not much np, no lab access, social anxiety that makes me not able to handle interaction through IM, etc.) and I don't want join a guild, but I think this is a very cool idea! I bought some items from the donation shop and I bookmarked it so I can continue buying items when I have extra np. I figure even if I'm not part of the guild, I can still contribute to people getting their wishes granted =)

What a lovely idea. I'm not going to apply for a staff position, because I don't know that I'llbe able commit to regular activity but, I do have access to the Secret Lab Ray and would be happy to do some zapping for the guild!

If you'd like to join as a regular member and do some zapping that would be great! We currently don't have a zap wishlist, but we wouldn't mind as many zappers as we can get! :) I may change the ranks around and such to have a member rank dedicated to zappers, but if you'd like to join anyone is welcome!

Just a reminder to those that have wishlists with mostly unbuyable items (100k+) or have had a lot of items bought from your wishlists, check your lists and if possible, make sure there's things of a variety of price levels so there's plenty for people to gift you according to their budgets.
 
If there's nothing specific you want under those amounts, think about maybe adding codestones/books/Neodeck cards or items you might like collecting a lot of, like some that collect Shiny Obsidian 

This is my first year doing this - so of course my wishlist is both long and ridiculous (and unsorted) it's mostly stamps and petpets (with a couple of weapons I'm working towards but, hey if you want to send me a ghostkerbomb, feel free). There's some very cheap stuff and some very not cheap stuff and everything in between. Thanks in advance. My schedule is hectic so if I forget to say thanks right away, I promise to get there!

EDIT: I broke out my single large list into a few smaller ones so stuff should be easier to find now.
 
EDIT 2: If you gifted me and I haven't thanked you here yet, can you please like this post so I can add you to the list. I think I accepted some gifts without writing down the names of who sent them and I want to be sure I don't miss anyone!

I totally forgot that today was going to be the start of the advent and I freaked my BF out when I got excited to see it in the dailies line-up, let;s just say I'm a Christmas FREAK!

 - Use to be worth around 15k so not bad, maybe we'll get some good items from the hidden clickable this year?
 
 
BTW it's absolutely adorable to see the Snowager acting all father-like. Look at that little Jr. Snowager.

I felt like yesterday was the 1st all day so I'm glad it's finally here! I really enjoy the advent calendar on Neo & December is a busier but fun time with family & friends enjoying the Christmas holiday all month long for us so I really enjoy this time!
 
Edit: Also, I got a Snuffly as my 'hidden' gift.

MMM PICKLES. I love pickles with anything lol. But I tend to not like them mixed into things. I remember a while back my friend was obsessed with pickle flavored potato chips, which I found disgusting.
 
Alex - that is actually my favorite dim sum item too!! That and the sticky rice wrapped in the banana leaves =P
 
And omg I too dip fries in ice cream. People think I'm crazy with that too but I'm glad I'm not the only one! I love the hot/cold effect it has as well.

I basically lived in my best friends home growing up and her family is Taiwanese so I'm used to eating odd things for breakfast - like chicken feet and rice noodles stuffed with beef (which is the most insanely delicious dim sum item ever). I've always been kind if an adventurous eater so stuff like sweetbreads, cow heart, pigs ears - while they all sound really gross - are actually so delicious.
