I logged back on to find my inventory updated to the new one. But for the life of me I can't figure out how to do quick stock! Do I really need to put items in my SDB one by one now??

I miss a lot of the original pet artwork, particularly the old koi. I think it was a lot cuter than the current koi. 

I also miss the old staff a lot. Back in the day of Donna and Adam it really felt like there were people who cared about making the site better. Ever since the original team left, its felt like there are few people working on the site who actually care about user experience. 

Additionally, I miss the days where there were no ads before games. Most of the time I can't play any games because the ad glitches or freezes and I can't get to the game. :/

I agree with Nielo on this. Neopets actively tries to make themselves a non-political space. Honestly, probably because it is ultimately a site that is supposed to be completely safe for children, even if a lot of adults play it. And I think deleting the item was the best path to take on their part. Regardless of whether or not it was Pink Floyd reference, people saw it as a reference to immigration and Donald Trump. And Donald Trump is a controversial person. I could definitely understand if TNT was worried about people who were pro-Trump or anti-Trump flooding the NeoBoards with their discourse. Or even say, messaging and attacking users if they had the item in their gallery, shop, trading post, etc. Which could end very badly considering children as young as 13 can use those features. 

 

I mean, its the same reason they have restrictions on what you're allowed to post and board monitors. Like, they're not trying to make Neopets a safe space for easily-offended adults. They're trying to make Neopets a safe space for literal children. And I can completely understand the choice to remove the item, so that children aren't getting yelled at/harassed/stalked/given death threats by pro- or anti- Trump people. Maybe its just me, but I would prefer to protect children from being attacked by adults. So I respect and understand their decision. 

I agree with a lot of the people above me. You should definitely be more gentle with yourself. You're not crazy, and you're not making bad decisions. The things you are feeling about him are totally valid. It sounds like a large portion of the reason that you're not over him is because you never had a clean break. He has always been in and out of your life. Even if you weren't officially together, at times you were still sort of together. So it definitely hasn't been three years. 

 

If you are looking for advice, then I have two pieces of advice to offer you:

 

Firstly, I would recommend that you remain out of contact with him. Obviously, I am not you nor do I know the full context and history of your life. But based on what you said in your post, it sounds like you might need an extended period of time away from him in order to heal your heart. So I would really recommend ignoring any communication you get from him in the future. 

 

Secondly, I would recommend speaking to a counsellor. I know a lot of people are hesitant when it comes to therapy, but personally, I've found it very helpful. (Although my reason for seeking therapy was more related to a specific mental disorder caused by trauma.) My psychologist always recommends that you don't try and push away your feelings. Instead, you should allow them in, recognize that they are there without holding on to them, and then let them flow away. All while maintaining steady and rhythmic breathing. It sound fluffy to some people, but its actually pretty helpful.

That's actually really funny! I got 1 one dubloon coin, 1 five dubloon coin, 1 ten dubloon coin, and 1 twenty dubloon coin. Because I got such an even collection, I assumed that everybody got the same thing! 

Has anyone else noticed a change in timing for the Underwater Fishing daily? Normally its every 12 hour, but it seems to have changed to once per day?

 

I fished with my active pet at 4:15am NST just before I went to work. And I just tried again at 5:20pm NST (more than 12 hours later) at it gave me the "you should try being more patient" message. Has anyone else noticed this?

Hi, I was just wondering if getting trick-or-treat bags is allowed for side accounts? I collect fairy items and I just need those Jhudora trick-or-treat-bag exclusive item. If not, I could always search it up on Shop Wizard, I guess, but I'm pretty sure the price won't be too kind to me. T_T

 

I also also wondering the same thing. Unfortunately, every single prize I got in my bags was a trick. :( I got three copies of Spooky Korbat Stories. I was hoping it might be allowed on side accounts so I could potentially get some of the new books to read to my main Neopet.

Hey all, I was hoping maybe somebody could help me out with the Water Distribution Plant?

 

I went through all of the combinations (using SunnyNeo's clickable chart) and had no luck. Now I've been doing the 8-link refresh method for over an hour, and still no luck. 

 

Has anybody been able to complete this part of the plot in 2016? Maybe the plot is inactive now? Or do I just have terrible luck?

I can empathize with this all too well. :( I quit Neopets several years (back when I was in high school) after my account was frozen, and then about a year or so again I made a new account and started playing again. My mom used to be an avid Neopets player, and when I got back into it she decided to as well. So she tried logging into her account (which she hadn't logged into in probably 7+ years) and it required her to put in her birthday, and she couldn't remember which one she had used. I used my new account to submit a ticket for her and she put in all of the information she could remember. That was probably 10 or 11 months ago. We're still waiting to hear back...
