So they've done toys, and then school supplies/books/wearables... What do you think will be asked for next time? I'm guessing maybe a food drive?

Today when I tried to collect my advent calendar prize, I clicked the abominable snowball first, then the "collect prize" button, and there was an error collecting my prize. I tried multiple times. Anyone else having issues? I submitted a ticket already.

Hey everyone,
Just wondering if anyone had any trouble collecting any prizes from the advent calendar today (with the Soup Faerie clip).
I tried clicking the "Collect My Prize!!!" button but I received a big red Oops box reading: "Error: Sorry, there was a problem awarding your prizes!"

Anyone else receive this error?  :guiltysmiley: I want mahhh prizessss

Whoa, Blockbuster? Yep, seems that page could use an update! I'll have someone look into it! For now though, some of those do still carry NC Cards, as well as some new ones not listed yet, they just may not have them at your local store. Target is not being discontinued (in fact, in a month, Target has a small bonus for their NC Card sales – stay tuned!) If none of your local stores carry them, there are multiple retailers who sell cards online as well, including Walmart from your list above!"
 
Unfortunately, I know this may not be very helpful, especially if your local Target is no longer selling them. But, as ladycanary mentioned, Wal-Mart does carry them, and as TNT stated above, you can purchase Neocash cards online from "multiple retailers", Wal-Mart included. Please note, I an not endorsing Wal-Mart or promoting their items. It may be a possible solution that works for you, or not.

I'm not even mad at JumpStart for this glitch; I think it's hilarious.
 
How many people are keeping it attached as a petpet? I sold mine because I know that when the glitch is fixed, the price will drop. The 100k was a nice compensation for how frustrating Itchy Invasion was. I love trophy hunting and playing games over and over, stategizing and practicing, but that one was infuriating.

Heard from my friend in France, apparently she lives far away from Paris. Still, the people who did this, if it is who claimed responsibility, they are the kind of people that can patient and can wait for generations if needed before they strike. That's what I've heard from military analysts on the news. Even back in 2001. I think that is something we in the West lack or maybe just don't understand. That resolve and determination. There is a quote that I one of the "Founding Fathers" of America wrote, I think it was Thomas Jefferson. He wrote, "The price of liberty is eternal vigilance." I think that's something we all need to take to heart in the West. It stinks, but we live in uncertain times these days.
 
Looks like there were nearly 500 victims, about 130 were killed, the rest being wounded. At least those are the numbers I see on the news in the US at the moment. Even though I can see this as evil,  the lack of all respect for life of those who are different that these, well, whatever you wanna call 'em, have, is really hard to comprehend. Especially with the cruelty they display. In the past and still now and probably in the future too. Just, so insane. :(

Everyone in her family is okay. So that's a good thing.
I feel just awful that someone would do such a cruel thing to innocent civilians

How many of you have had weird dreams about Neopets? 

I'd kind of hoped they'd have made the theme available for a longer period, since I knew I was going to miss trying to refresh for it at midnight. :/ Once a year is pretty exclusive anyway, perhaps, a couple hours around midnight, instead of just that one minute!

I just got it with my 112th donation. Donated 5 "copies" of BBBB, purchased from the Neopia Ever Stocked General Store. As I'm sure most of you already know, it is only r30. Hmmm...of those who have posted so far, I wonder if it is connected to an even number (supersnuggle: 1472, hkat2006: 204, decchild: 114, myself: 112, geoterza: about 600)? But that makes no sense...so random. I forgot to get the time I got it.

I hope it isn't random. It would really suck considering how crazy inflation and buying has been for the past few days. 

Yeah random avvies during events are not cool. Especially events like this that cause crazy inflation all over the place. 
 
After reading the replies here, on the boards, and on Reddit, I'm honestly starting to wonder if it wasn't activated right away. In that case, it'll be really hard to pin down the requirements because whatever was done up until it was actually activated won't count, and we'd have no way of telling what the trigger is since all our stats are cumulative from our first donation.

I think so.  Zombie Handbook is a 90; Brightvale Castle book is a 94.  I guess people are hoping that donating five items with 90-99 rarity will result in a random  very rare item. 
However, it's pretty risky if you're spending nearly 250,000 NP every time you donate.   

They didn't specify very well, did they? Any item with the category "School" can be donated. If you bring up an item in your inventory you'll see a "Type" field in the information. Anything that says "School" there will qualify. This is generally notebooks, folders, pencils, ect. Be careful though, if an item is r101 it's type "Special" and will not count even if it's a relevant kind of item (such as notebooks from old Advents). You can also sort your SDB by type. Selecting "School" there will bring up the relevant items (though again, take care about r101 things).

You all have some really great ideas that I'd be up for seeing happen. Which a few has got me to thinking of even more ideas I'd like to see. We could always have a continuation of new games instead of just one.  Maybe one more with Roberta and Tormund then the rest for a while being new characters. Anything would be great really, as long as it was like the first game and not another puzzle.

I'd like that. At least if the protagonist weren't to be Tor & Roberta, it'd be nice for them to make an appearance as side characters that lend a hand or something to that effect.

 I don't know a whole heck of a lot about the developers of The Darkest Faerie or Jumpstart. So I can't say much on whether or not it'd be cringe-worthy. Speaking of the developers of N:tDF, they did a wonderful job on the game. Of course I can remember bugs every now and again. But, with how games are handled now, that could easily be fixed with an update often when needed.
Seeing Tor & Roberta on another Neopia world would be great. I personally would love to explore the Haunted Woods or the Lost Desert. I wouldn't mind Faeriland either considering it's new state of no longer floating above Neopia.
Heck, maybe the game could be about getting Faerieland back in the sky or something. Who knows?

Your idea would actually work well as a platform for online play. If we were to get another console game I wouldn't see why they would leave online play out. And your idea would actually fit perfectly for that.
Have a normal story action adventure game for single player/offline then an account link up, customize character, huge open hub with option to battle, explore, shop, or whatever for online.
 
 
I'm really glad to see that they are other people that want to see another console game happen. It would definitely make my year to hear that there was a possibility of such.
I sadly don't think it'something we'll see any time in the near future. 
I've thought about making contact with whomever necessary to see about the possibilities or openness of this as well as maybe a petition too. I may very well still do the latter. But I guess we can see.

At least the old TNT was reliable when it came to pet days! (unless it was a holiday) Slippery slope you are going down, Jumpstaff...

Recently I came across my old PS2 and it's games, which included Neopet's: The Darkest Faerie.  It got me to thinking of what, if they were to ever consider, a game on newer consoles would be like.
 
The Darkest Faerie is one of my favorite games, and something that I have played through several times. A game of similarity to it instead of a puzzle is something that I've hoped to see in the future.  
 
I've had a few ideas for a future game, being that a new Neopets console game were to be made. Some of my ideas for the game would be continuation of where the last game left off. The Faerie's Ruins Plot Epilogue is partially what gave me this idea. I know that the many years since it came out would be an issue but then again the first game could be included with the new (I've seen few game have inclusions as such). 
 
I'd like to see Roberta and Tormund team up again, maybe if things were to go as I stated above, but I'd be fine with seeing new characters. I really liked how the characters were introduced  as well as how they could be switched throughout the remainder of the game after. Another thing worth mention that I'd like to see come back would be the neopoints, treasures, and shops. It added a little bit of the Neopets website customization to the game, which I found really neat and fun to play with. The only difference on that I'd like would be the ability to see previously bought apparel that could be switced through.
 
In all reality I'd just be happy with a new action adventure game from Neopets on new consoles.
 
 
Anyways, I'm curious as to what some of your opinions are on a new game and what you'd like the game to be about or include if you're for the idea? 

I'm going to dress my pets up, but I haven't really thought about it too much. I like to collect wearables though so I should be able to put something together.
