These kind of comments always make me so happy, after watching those same players being supremely incompetent whilst under my control. YOUR players were super-aggressive too! The goalie not so much though, not as much as KL at least. REALLY warms my heart to hear Xana was tough! I'd really like to be able to see our team in action against an opponent, not much chance for that though, is there! Yeah the grind is real, that's for sure. I do feel it's somewhat offset by the camaraderie though. I'm way more into it since being active on the Shenkuu board. ^.^

Last year's was such a train wreck, wasn't it! I mean they worked hard to fix the problem quickly, and that was great; BUT, neopets just doesn't have a quick and immediately obvious means of telling people things, so a lot of people just didn't know about the quick discard inventory method and were continuing to use the painfully slow original way. : / Maybe with the site revamp there will be some kind of banner announcement system in place! It's desperately needed.

ok, pet peeve for me, Mirsha just standing there at the beginning. Sometimes with the first yooyu of a game she's unresponsive, I can't get her to come up to the centre. Does anyone else ever experience this with the first one?

Good for you with sticking with Moltara. I've said elsewhere that I assume Moltara has a smaller amount of people who play for it as it's the youngest team, isn't it? So it's always at a disadvantage. Am I right in thinking that? While I'd absolutely NOT want the system to change so there was an even number of players in each team, thus forcing some people into a different one to that which they had an allegiance with, I do wish there was a way for the teams with less players to legitimately gain more. *ponders* something like a transfer fee? a nice NP bonus for signing up to the under-dog? There's plenty of people who don't play for the same team every year. My goal for today is to find some motivation, I seem to have misplaced it. Also SK is playing BV today and I'm struggling with the two big guys, my brain can't tell the difference between them and wastes a lot of available processing space being confused.

They don't. These are the only two games I play during the AC and I've never been bothered by them pesky Captchas.

I wonder if the particularly vociferous CC-haters on the boards will be piping down now... because I suspect that despite their very vocal disdaining of CC, they all have these two big perks! I'm very much hoping CC will be along after the AC. As the summer's pretty open for events it seems reasonable to hope for CC during July? As it's an event that basically needs 13 months for the event to run and then for the perks to expire it happening soon after the AC will set it up for a schedule for the next three years maybe, until it's butting up against Hallowe'en and then it'd need to jump to Spring again I suppose. This is all pie in the sky ofc, it might not happen at all! I'm a strong believer in the power of wishful thinking though. I enjoy CC, and I suppose my entire Neopian behaviour revolves around prepararion for it to a certain extent, I spend the entire year doing my Dailies with Intent; the items I collect from the Money Tree are all r80+ to be saved for CC, and I buy Sticky Snowballs from the Healing Springs throughout the day. No other spending than those 25 NPs for those though. I taught myself the Money Tree items (pretty proud of my MS-addled brain for managing it, but, you know, repetition and all that, basic learning technique). I saved them in JN wish lists until I knew them. Obsessive, much? xD I'll share the link to my list once JN's stopped being broken, so anyone else who wants to be as obsessive of me can be! >8D As an aside, how are the smilies behaving for you? That's the sweetest thing ever! Would be so nice if we could do better than our regular mid/low level result. I've found out a lot of Shenkuu's history today though and us not generally doing so well makes a lot more sense now. o.o So much drama early on in the AC history. *gulps* There's new ninjas on the board this year though, isn't there @Angeló so maybe we will manage to do better.

The creepy Kookith shoos you away and appears quite angry, so you hightail it out of there before he shoots some miniature laser beam at you or something.

Can I ask a question. have you every played solitaire on a Windows computer? If you have you should realise that Sakhmet Solitaire is positively extravagant with its gameplay leniency compared to Windows. I used to set the Windows one to cummulative for the wins, just to watch myself go deeper and deeper into the red with every game. Even when I eventually won one it barely made a dent in my huge losses. xDD On neo I find Pyramids to be less of a douchebag, you still don't clear the board very often, but you do nearly always end up winning more than you paid to play, unlike solitaire. >_>
