I decided not to enter the current round, as I did receive another entry, and I guess I feel kinda weird hosting and entering, but I did end up making a couple of entries, so I figured I'd post them here instead: Battle of the Bands vs. Costume contest vs.

Two entries per person during the holiday season might've been a big ask, as I've only received entries from 4 people. I prefer to have a minimum of 5 entries per round (which I know isn't written anywhere, but when there's only 4, there's only one person who won't get an award, which just feels... awkward), so I'm going to extend the entering period by another week. (If I don't receive another entry, I might just try my hand at this theme and actually enter for a change, so the round will definitely start next week.) I hope you all had a lovely holiday (despite, you know... 2020), and I wish you all the best for 2021! (It's got to be better than 2020, right?)

I've seen many people on the Neoboards complain about the shop wizard, so I'm assuming it's not just you. (Figured I'd also try it myself, and yes, it's definitely a general issue.)

Yeah, that's probably it, but that's really the kind of thing they should've checked with their users when starting this redesign. I can't imagine this never came up on the board about the beta test though, so it makes me wonder if the whole 'focusing on mobile' thing isn't primarily to attract new users (which honestly seems like it'll be difficult to me, with all the games out there these days), and less about keeping the old ones around. Or maybe they're just desperately under-staffed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think, if you read through all the overly dramatic posts, that this is the exact issue a lot of people are most upset about. It's the "do they even know who's playing their game, and how?" question. Personally, while I'm not a fan of the new lay-out, I know I'll get used to it, and I understand that a lot of things are still broken (and will be for a while), because the mere thought of having to convert a code-base as old (and big) as Neo's to a completely new lay-out and platform makes me want to cry. But... it would've been nice if they'd made sure some of the basics would have been a priority. I know using the URL to go to quickstock (and, honestly, to my inventory too) is not much work, but... come on. This is such a core feature for many people, so the fact that it's apparently not even on their radar does bother me a little.

Unfortunately, I don't think that's possible anymore, as support for Flash ends today. We've all switched over to "Beta" mode now; the option to switch back to classic has been removed. (Although quite a few pages will (randomly) still show up in classic mode...)

How did you go about switching to the classic site? Because I just went back and forth, and didn't have to enter my password at all. (Just in case you did it differently, the way to switch to the classic site while you're logged into the beta version, is to click on your pet's picture in the top left corner of the screen, and pick 'view classic site' from the menu that appears. I don't recall ever having to re-enter my password while doing that.) The beta version is definitely a work in progress. They are in the process of converting the games, but right now it does appear as though many can't be played yet. As for NeoPoints: you should get a notification from Trudy's Surprise each day (regardless of which version of the site you're using), which is a really quick and eays way to get points. (And if you don't have any NP right now, you can always visit the Soup Faerie to feed your pets.)

I think it's a fairly recent change, although I can't be sure as to when I first noticed it. (I think the same change also caused our avatars to be slightly mis-aligned and covering our member rank.) Maybe Invision Community and/or ipsfocus (which power this forum/its design; see links all the way on the bottom of the page, in the footer) did an update? I'm not really sure. But you're definitely not misremembering it.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen the message; if you knock one down, it just freezes, but like @Angeló said, you should've received it anyway. (I haven't played it in ages; the few I've knocked down were probably several years ago, but I received all of them.)

Does that happen with all games? Have you tried a different browser yet? (Or a different device, if you have access to one?) I just tried a couple of games, and they were working fine for me, so I don't think the problem is on Neopets' end.
