I'm not sure about the announcement schedule, but I do always update the Runway section of the TDN frontpage to include a message about it and I add a link to the new contest there. I also post a message in the previous Runway thread with the same link. (You could sign up for notifications on the current thread if you want to know when the new round starts.) New rounds always start on Mondays, in any case. (Unless our time zones are too far apart, then it might well be either late on Sunday or early on Tuesday for you, depending on where you are in the world. ) Sorry, work has kept me pretty busy this week, so I hadn't seen your message yet: to enter The Runway, please read the rules page which @Secre linked to, and message me with your entry (as mentioned on the rules page, include a title/image/link/and if you want, a description). You can check some previous Runway threads to see how the entries are usually set up. On Dress To Impress (DTI), you can just enter your pet's username, and it'll have your pet's current customisation, so you won't need to manually customise them again. (The contest isn't necessarily anonymous though, as many people have an account on DTI, so if you open the link to the outfit page, you'll see their username, which might be similar to their TDN name, or you'll just learn to recognise it if you enter the contests often enough. )

I've only received 4 entries so far, which isn't really enough to start the round, so I'm going to postpone the entering period by a week. (And I'll try to get the dates right this time.)

I doubt the plot has changed; is it possible you've already done a few steps of the plot before? That would explain why the first screen looks different from the guide.

That might be a good idea. I'm not actually expecting any more entries at this point (I think anyone who would've wanted to enter could've done so by now), but I might put up a poll with the one entry I did receive, so people still have a chance to vote for that one as well. I'm not that experienced with CSS, and I'm not sure which of the graphics you used, so I just started experimenting with the very first one on the TDN Graphics page (which I didn't even know existed until I saw your post), and while my solution isn't perfect, it at least shows my pets in two rows (I didn't actually change my user lookup, so this is a screenshot of the preview): I tried creating some room between the levels of the upper row of pets, and the image of the bottom row, but I couldn't really get that to work. This is what I added: (Again, this is for the very first of the user lookups on the graphics page (Grey Draik), so it might be different for the one you used. You might have to play around a bit with the pixels/percentages to get it exactly the way you want.) Hope this helps!

Hi guys! I'm going to extend the entering period for this round by one week, both because I haven't received that many entries, and (mostly) because I'm super tired right now. Sorry for the delay! Again.

Sure, it's a movie about a circus, so it's definitely circus related. (I mean, if you were planning on using one of the few characters who never perform at/visit the circus, then it might be a bit of a stretch, but I think most characters definitely have ties to the circus, so I doubt that would be a problem.)

I didn't realise how many people cared about "good" names until I joined TDN. Or that people would create pets with the specific purpose of painting & pounding them. It had never occurred to me that people put so much value on a pet's name, to be honest. And when it comes to "bad" names, I think a lot of people simply don't care that much about names; and the link between naming a pet and pounding a pet is kind of lost on me - I assume many people create pets and don't assume they'll pound them later on. (At least, that's how I've always played Neopets. I've never pounded a pet and don't think I ever will.) And I agree with @Angeló, I think those are good names, so I'm wondering what exactly it is that makes you hate them so much? XD

I'm not sure what you're asking, exactly. I think you might be under the impression that the rules are stricter than they actually are. You can donate whatever you want to the Charity Corner (provided it fits the theme, but the last couple of Charity Corners didn't really have many restrictions). When donating something, it'll be taken from your inventory, but where you store the items before that is irrelevant. You're also free to buy new things to donate even while the event is going on; the only stores that will be closed during the event are the Ever-Stocked General Store and the Neohome Superstore. But you can buy whatever else you want, and keep it in your SDB, your gallery, your inventory... wherever. It might be useful to check out the link I posted above, which describes last year's rules, and JellyNeo also has a list of a few donation strategies which might give you some insight into how the event works.
