Welcome to TDN! When it comes to games and plots, there isn't really a way for us (as players) to get around the Flash problem, unfortunately. They're working on converting all the games and stuff to HTML5, but until that's done, there's simply a lot of stuff that's unavailable to players. (In case you're interested in reading more about this, JellyNeo has an article with more info about the end of Flash, and a list of playable games.) I'm not sure if your question is about the (Flash) pet image no longer showing up on pet pages, but if it was: this page has a guide on how to get your pet's static image to show up on your petpage: http://www.neopets.com/~Shwoopsie. And this page has some pre-made pet pages that you can use, which (as far as I can tell) don't use Flash for the pet image: https://www.neopets.com/~Xaia#Pd. (I'm not sure if you asked for help 3 times on here, or somewhere else, because this is the first neofriend/neomail related post I've seen here in ages, so if it was on here, your posts might not have come through.) I'm assuming the error shows up in red text underneath their username in the neomail, and says something to the effect of "you can't send this user neomails because you're not neofriends"? Or does it say something else entirely? Apologies if you've already tried this, but what happens if you go to your neofriend list and click on the little envelope for that user (between the question mark and their age)? Because if the error text indicates that the reason you can't neomail them is because you're not neofriends, even though you were able to get to that screen through your neofriend list, it sounds like a bug. In that case it might be worth contacting Neopets.

I kinda saw this coming (but only after I'd posted the round ), but having a longer entering period over the holidays isn't necessarily a good way to get more entries - especially since the new year has only just begun, and I assume people are still in the 'starting up' phase. Anyway, what I'm saying is that I've only received 3 entries so far, so I'll extend the entering period by another week, to allow people to get back into their daily routine and perhaps remember/get inspired to create a Runway entry.

Yeah, with an almost infinite amount of literary characters to choose from, this theme might've been a bit too broad; sorry. XD

That's very odd. Perhaps you could try to use the 'recover username' function to check if the username is indeed connected to one of your e-mail addresses? If it's not connected, you might have to ask yourself if there's any chance at all that maybe you did have a separate e-mail address for Neopets at some point. If you're 100% sure you've got the right e-mail address & username, I wonder if it might be possible that someone hacked your account and changed the e-mail address associated with it. You said you were able to see that your account still exists on Neopets; can you see if anything (pet colours/amount of pets/etc.) looks different from when you last played? Either way, sending another message to Neopets support seems like a good idea; try to include as much information about your account as you can remember. And maybe ask them if they are able to see if one of your e-mail addresses used to be associated with the account, and if there's any chance the e-mail address on the account has been changed in the time that you were unable to log in.

Ohh, thanks for bringing that up! I should probably make it clear in the description that the pet should still be somewhat visible, so Invisible pets are pretty much the only pets that don't fit this theme. XD Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

It's not related to your browser/system at all: Flash has been discontinued - not by Neopets, but in general. It's dead. (Adobe actually recommends uninstalling Flash entirely, as it's no longer supported, which can lead to security issues. As you've noticed @Eagle_eye129, downloading older versions of Flash can even result in infecting your computer/phone with a virus.) Neopets has been working on converting everything to HTML5, but it's taking a long time. This article on JellyNeo has more info about the death of Flash, and which things have already been converted/still need to get done.
