Like I said, I'm all for discussing entries in this thread, and you're definitely welcome to give your opinion on them! It's just that pointing out how much you love the idea, then showing how you would've done it completely differently, really only keeping the theme, which is an existing series of books and movies, comes across (to me*) as if you're saying you love the (existing) scene the entry represents, but not the entry itself... I have no doubt you meant it as a compliment, and there's a good chance the person whose entry it is will see it that way (and will disagree with me), but I do feel like it's kind of my responsibility (as Runway host) to jump in when I feel like one specific entry is being over-analysed (which is why I responded when I did, and not earlier). (*Perhaps this is a good time to mention that I don't know much about LotR at all. It's one of the few books I never managed to finish, and I gave up after the first film. So if I'm missing something here, I do apologise. This is just how it comes across to me, someone who knows nothing about the scene the entry represents.)

@Yuiina Everybody has a different image of famous characters in their minds, and we also all use/interpret Neo's items differently when customising an entry. To be honest, I don't really understand why you felt the need to point out here that #11 didn't match your image of Frodo. If you don't like an entry, don't vote for it, but you could've waited to ask for a clarification on the items until after this round ended, and the creator of the entry had been announced. I'm all for discussing the entries in this thread, but this seemed kind of needlessly critical to me.

Definitely lucky! I don't even remember the last time I had a faerie quest (that wasn't from a fortune cookie or the faerie quest event). (But I do remember getting 2 or 3 random quests within one or two days once.) (And @jellysundae I don't think it's just a UK thing, although it's possible I mostly heard this from British people. But it definitely applies to other countries (or, at least, The Netherlands) as well.)

I think @liesoehoe is right, and that it's not a glitch, but simply the fact that not all Invisible pets can wear clothes (apparently). I've just tried it with a pet that I knew could wear clothes, and it's working, so if you want to use clothes for this entry, you'll have to find a pet that can wear them. Unfortunately, I have no idea which pets can wear them, and which can't, so you'll probably have to use the trial and error method to figure that out. ?

I've already received a few entries, so it did work before, but I've just tried it, and the clothes won't show up on Invisible pets for me either. DTI is usually pretty fast in fixing any glitches though, but if this problem persists, I'll extend the entering period, because I'm betting you won't be the only one affected. (It's a pretty strange glitch though; I can open the entries people have already sent in, and put different clothes on those pets just fine, but opening an old saved outfit of my own, and changing that pet to an Invisible one, will immediately hide all their clothes. )

I'll definitely remind you, @jellysundae! (And you weren't even the only one to suggest it, so I figured it was about time I went with this theme.)

There do seem to be some similarties to the Shop Wizard, although the Wishing Well will usually only have 2 or 3 winners with the same first letter, so I think the mechanism is at least slightly different. I definitely agree that it's mostly luck, as I do think it's mostly random, but if I were to program (or monitor) a 'random' contest, I'd make sure that if someone already won that round (or even that day), they couldn't win again, to at least even out the chances for other players somewhat (especially with the amount of people wishing for stuff each day). Yeah, I agree with @jellysundae, the amount of NP doesn't really seem to matter (as long as it's at least 21). The more I think about it, the more I'm inclined to think that the only thing that might play a part in whether or not you win, is the first letter of your username. But I'm not even certain about that. I think the only things they definitely check are if your wish meets the minimum amount of NP donated, and if the item you're wishing for has a rarity lower than the max rarity that can be rewarded. Everything else appears to be random. (Which is good, except for the double winners. ) Oh well. Off to make more wishes! XD *Edit: It's almost as if TNT read this thread, because now it's happened to me... XD And yes, I wished for the same item all 7 wishes, and received it twice. ?

For the past couple of months I've been using the Wishing Well more actively again. (I can go months/years forgetting it even exists.) I'm currently making 7-14 wishes a day, without any luck. But, some people, apparently, have all the luck: Like this person: Or this one: And this one (from today): Anyway, while I don't begrudge these people their prizes, it is - in addition to making me feel a little jealous - making me wonder how the Well's winners are elected, because it feels like that system could do with a little improvement. XD Does anyone have any insights into this? Has this been discussed before and have I just missed it?

I actually made a few entries for this round as well. Before I came up with the theme, I'd been watching The Witcher, and the song "Toss a Coin to Your Witcher" had been stuck in my head all week, and I figured I could actually make a custom for it.
