Yup, know what you mean. I think some newbies don`t realise that once they remove a zapped petpet it`ll revert. Ha ha.
 
Also, as misparky says, people are totally obsessed with names. Sorry but that seems a bit shallow to me. I re-pounded a healed and zapped fab shadow grarrl and it took me ages to realise nobody would want him because he has numbers in his name  :(

There are some neopets that I've pounded, but I've wanted to find good homes for... so I went to lost.quiggle and put their names on there. One of them had a Neotrak, which at the time was worth 100k. I kept checking on the pets and found that people would adopt them just to take their petpets. 
 
I mean that was definitely negligent of me, I should been aware of that possibility and that's no one's fault but my own. But at the same time it bothers me that someone would do that, you know? People would steal the cheaper petpets too. Next time I'll just remove the petpets before pounding them (unless they're super cheap anyway), even if it makes me feel like a jerk. 
 

It happens a lot on the avatar pound board too. Users remove aged petpets even though they are cheap or will remove a zapped one which is just ridiculous.  Dont let a few noobs ruin it for you. 
 
Its hard to rehome pets these days, so many are painted and everyone is obsessed with names (more than before).

well for starters, what type of printer do you have?
I know from experience that HP can be temperamental. Is it just your computer having problems? (I'm assuming so from the way your post was worded, but you could be using a shared computer.)
 
If it's just your computer, then I'd try going into the printer settings on your computer and try doing a print test. Also try hardwiring your computer to the printer if you're using wifi, sometimes the connection between devices gets disrupted. If you're able to print the test then I'd try printing from a different program like whatever text program you have installed on your computer.

I count on my fingers too, lol. Acorah, I could never get anything from the money tree on my old computer, my laptop's nothing special but it's clearly got just enough speed to let me get the things that no-one else wants, lol.

How do you guys manage to get anything at all from any of these?! What`s the trick, because I have only managed to grab about 4 items since Feb of last year!

I suggest you put in a ticket a.s.a.p. If you explain what happened, I'm sure JS will be able to investigate and sort it out for you.

Oh yeah, books too! I'm sporadically working on that, my guy's read 183 so far :) Trudy's helping a lot with book purchasing!

This account may be new, but my neopets experience certainly is not!
 
I first started playing on my old account about a decade ago, then sort of lost interest one day. 
 
The past few days I was looking up old flash games I played when I was young for nostalgia's sake. Then I remembered "oh yeah I used to play neopets" and somehow remembered my old account info and was surprised to see it work!
 
I was also surprised to see all the older people still playing, guess I'm not so odd after all!
 
Well that's my introduction, I am looking for neofriends to add, preferably mature individuals but any friendly person will do. c:

Neopets isn't down but the lag is so bad with pages and games taking very long to load, that it appears to be down to the http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com site.

Most of the toys seem to be worth more when they break.  IDK why this is so, but it seems to be that way.  My pet broke the springy slorg we just got from the daily question and it is worth almost 1000nps broken.  It is only 10np regularly.  I had a jerdana music box.  My pet broke it.  I was so upset I fixed it at donny's repair shop instantly.  Then I checked.  That was soooooo stupid of me.  It was worth about 700 after I spent about 700 to fix it.  It was worth about 7,000 at that time if I sold it broken.  I tried to get my pet to break it again, lol, with no such luck.  I suppose the piggy banks could break too, but I don't think lots of NPs would fall out if that is what you are getting at.  lol.  Like, "Crabbyapple plays with greedykadoatie piggy bank and breaks it.  10,000 nps fall from the crack in the piggy bank.  Today is your lucky day."  Ummm, very unlikely, but that would be so cool.  lol

Sometimes it seems like the language change doesn't totally take effect. Like in the main window, the language will have changed, but when you click the book to read it to your pet, the pop up window is still in English.
 
I go to the NC Mall and change the language, then change the main site language to the same one. When I do this, the language is changed in the pop up window as well. After I'm done, I switch it back in both places and it works.
