I am in Canada which is mostly known for it's cold weather haha....however, this summer we have been getting hit with some heatwaves as well.
We had a week staright of 35C+ (feels like 45C with the humidex) ....apparently, another heatwave like that is supposed to start Sunday.
Our normal summers usually range from 25-30C with little humidity.

That is nice :) I consider my pets as my family as well.
I spent time with my family and my in-laws as well. It is also my birthday today so we were celebrating that and Mother's Day at the same time haha.

First, good news: My fiance is in a little less pain today. I still had to go to the grocery store by myself though. Not a big deal though.
I really can't hold the comment against Denis Potvin too much. He's the only original Panthers commentator left. That gets some serious love from me.  Overall, I know I did the right thing, but I really wanted to go that game. Stupid accident. I'd better be able to go to the game on February 6, or I'll blow a gasket!
@iheartsaku- It should be interesting when the Panthers play the Canadiens on March 8th. lol
 

I got the Magical Pirate Krawk Plushie from Anchor Management today.
 
I still can't believe it.....I usually always get useless stuff from there. When I saw it, my jaw dropped haha.
I already used it on one of my pets and got myself a new Avatar (Ghost Krawk). Wheeeee!!  :)

I am still not sure how to feel about all this....I am little afraid they won't fix anything or change everything and it will no longer be the Neopets we once loved.
Oh well, only time will tell. I will try to stay optimistic and see what happens.

This might be the first year I don't do anything....which makes me sad :/ last year I was the Queen of Hearts. I have a few more days to think about it haha maybe I'll decide to dress up and come up with a last minute idea. XD

I tend to keep a few hundred thousand NP on hand because I'm trying to learn restocking (it is not going well). Yesterday I encountered the tax beast and lost maybe 20-30k :( Today I see I have a second place trophy from it :O I'm going to count that as a positive :laughingsmiley:
 
Edit: Oops, looks like I misremembered.. I just looked at the high scores table and I only lost about 12k. I don't know why I thought it was more :*

I went with Terror Mountain again this year :) I'm sure they can win it this time hehe ;)

It's a miracle .... I got the Edna Cackle avatar tonight. I still can't believe it....it has taken forever to get it. I managed to get it after doing two, 3 items, quests in a row. Not sure if that means anything...

I also got a Fountain Faerie quest today. I guess it was my lucky day o_O

I'm in a relationship with a wonderful guy. We've been together for a little over a year. :) I couldn't possibly be happier!
