Put 6 coins on each side of the balance. One side will be heavier. Remove the lighter side. Put 3 coins from the heavier set on each side, again remove the lighter side. Pick 2 of the remaining 3 coins at random and weigh them again. If one coin is heavier, there you go. If they are equal, the last coin is heavier.

I'm still trying to reach 2 mil, but school and life tend to get in the way of doing more than dailies, and I've never gotten into habi. Plus I now have a new goal of getting the lab map...

I entered the last Random Contest... and I WON! I was one of the 2nd place winners! My drawing is the only one that's just done with pencil and without color (which I was worried about), but it looks like my hard work paid off!

This was incredibly fun, even though I got frustrated and gave up on some of the puzzles... I really enjoyed this, and now I don't know what I'll do for puzzles! :)

I love the Techo one! I've never really been a fan of Techo's, but for some reason I really want a stealthy one.

Congrats to everyone who completed all the puzzles :) I'm not sure how many people there will be who completed them all... maximum 16, since thats how many people got today's and it was the least-completed puzzle. There's probably at least a couple of people who got today's but missed an earlier one though. Ian's tallying the results for me so we'll see!
 
I will make up a solutions page tomorrow sometime and post it for y'all. I meant to write it earlier and release it when I closed the submissions but I spaced xD Working night shifts the week you move house doesn't help the memory haha

I think I am the only one who isn't gonna get #30. My arthritis isn't gonna allow me to continue. This makes me really sad. I got down to 6 remaining but my hand is in too bad of shape for me to push and keep going. I don't know what to do now :sad01_anim:
 
I don't even know what to say other than there are some truly amazing people on this site. Thank you so much for "hinting" me the answer. You didn't have to do that and for that I am thankful. It was a total surprise of the best kind. :laughingsmiley:
 
Oh and thank you to everyone and anyone that posted any sort of hint towards any of the puzzles. Even though I didn't need a hint for a lot of them, someone got use out of each one and that is really great.
 
Lastly, thank you to Izzy, this was one of the most fun things I have done in awhile (minus #2 that was just frustration wrapped in brain hurt with a side of confusing sauce) and I hope this becomes a regular thing.
 
Now I am just left wondering "what I am gonna do with all of this free time I will have now?" lol

I woke up (20 mins ago) feeling awful, and realised it's a new day on neo. Just started my dailies before college and had bad luck at the shrine so I moved onto the fruit machine. Now I usually only win 50nps on this (though less than a month ago I won a few thousand) I clicked on spin today and got

If anyone's still wondering, there are 10 differences

I haven't really done any other GMCs so I don't know... but is it really any different from any other year? (aside from the millions of glitches)The DD is the one where you just have one game to get a score in each day- the GMC is supposed to be a challenge, isn't it?
Not saying I enjoyed it either, but I am proud that I'll be getting a gold trophy- I worked my butt off to get it.

I usually enjoy the Challenge. I get to try out new games, and choosing between the easier/difficult scores appeals to me.
 
But this year? Too many games in such a limited amount of time. I like the idea of one or two games per day, so that if I've never played a game before, I have time to get the hang of it. My life is always busy. I have work, friends, cleaning, (even Christmas shopping), and it's impossible for me to get enough time as needed to balance between Neo and my real life.
 
I kind of gave up. Not entirely, but upon coming home late one night, and feel extremely tired - seeing 5 different games I had to beat, I basically said; "Forget it, I'm going to bed."
 
I did not like the way it was this year. I understand that they have extended the time, which is wonderful. But having to submit 3 scores for just one prize? Urgh....
