It's not like you're limited to having one pug and you have to get a German Shepherd for your next pet because it's unfair to other pug lovers. :D

You will have to upload it to an image hosting website. I like tinypic myself, since there are few worries of accidentally deleting it later. Then, you have to put it on a petpage. In case you don't know the html for that, it's below. Then, once it is on your petpage, you can neomail the owner and link them to the petpage. They can collect the image, and you can remove it from your petpage after that. :)

I have gone to a lot of interviews, and one thing I always do is remain myself.
 
I landed my first job when I was 18, after applying only to one place. It was a framing store and I stayed there almost 2 years as part-time employee. I liked it because I was able to see great pictures, paintings, etc... My CV back then was nothing special and I had no experience. I think they only called me for interview because they really needed to hire someone before summer vacations. I had 2 interviews there. The first one was with the manager and she asked me stuff like how I would act when I'm there, if I knew anything about art, etc. It was pretty laid back and I remember we ended up chatting more than interviewing ahah. And I had a second interview with the store owner. I think he just wanted to check if I was trustable, since I would have to deal with money.
 
The next couple jobs I have had were through friends. Those were easier to land because someone had refered me. Never underestimate your network! Tell all your friends you are looking for a job and to keep their eyes and ears opened for you.
 
Right now I'm looking for a job that will let me get started with my real professional career. I want to get away from retail and customer service. It's a lot harder since I have no experience and the market is kinda saturated with creative people. If that's where you want to go eventually, keep in mind that you need to have a strong portfolio of your best pieces.
 
Call centers can be a good place where to apply if you have no experience. They are usually willing to train you (paid) and very flexible with hours. Obvisouly, it can become a bit frustrating to work there after a while... but you never have to see customers' faces and that can be a plus too.
 
Something that hasn't been said yet. Landing an interview is like 80% of the job. This is really want you want since it will be your best occasion to showcase who you are. It's always a plus to call back or email your interviewer to thank them the next day. It shows that you care. Also, if you have no news after 10-15 days of sending your resumé to a place, you can call them and ask for the person in charge or hiring. It's often human resources or a manager.

@Laura, For now, I only made one CV, the one that will fit for clothing stores, but I'll keep in mind to change it if I ever find some other interesting job offers. I think I put enough positive elements, I'm not sure whether it made me stand out from the others though ;/ Same, I can be shy around strangers, but I'm working to be more social :) Thanks for the tips ^-^

@SweetD, yes I have applied to some store online, but others I went in person :) Thanks for sharing with me, it's good to know that it's only the beginning that's hard and once it's over, it will be a lot easier :) A dollar store seems like a pretty good place for a first job !

@Rebecca, Yeah ^-^ It's funny how jobs require experience, but having experience requires having a job... My dad who works for an online shop told me that there are people who crop pictures of models and it's a fairly easy (but boring) job that anyone with a really basic picture editing skill can do. They will not hire professional because they are pricey, so he told me to look more into that category if it interests me. Oh grocery stores! I have not thought about this, I will look through them right now :3 & thanks for the interview tips, I will definitely google for more :)

Actually, you are being mean and rude. You do not know me and therefore have zero right to blow me off as a prude. I am as bleep-y and crass as it gets--I just have to hold it back here and elsewhere, because that's what civilized persons do.
 
But I also take the old "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" attitude. And it's not "up to TNT, not {me}". There are millions of users, millions of pets and likely thousands of pages. They cannot be everywhere every minute and rely on people like me and the other users who sided with me above to report inappropriate names, scams and other things that would harm the site and its (supposedly) young fanbase. Just because I don't agree with the stringency of some of the rules, doesn't mean I can't work to uphold those same rules. That's what being a good user and a fair player is all about.

NC clothing does not get transferred. NP clothing does.
 
If it's Paint Brush clothing, and the pet's colour matches the clothes' color set, it goes as well, but if the pet's colour and clothes don't match (say, a Purple Peophin wearing Royal Peophin clothes) then no.

In order to be given Future Fashions access in the NC Mall you need to spend 10,000NC in a single month. That works out to about $100 USD!!
So yes it is a lot of money to spend.
 
Basically how Future Fashions works is those who have access can purchase the items up to 3 days before they're released to the general mall population.

Most pets that get deleted are done pretty quickly, it seems. Older pets are often 'grandfathered', which is why you do see some pets with questionable names on old accounts. So there isn't a lot of danger of established pets, that have been trained or painted to be deleted.

I once had an account deleted that was named nicotine, so I'm not surprised that drinks aren't allowed too. And LGBT definitely doesn't fall in their guidelines. I wouldn't say they're any more delete happy than normal.

I don't mean to be rude or sound judgemental about anyone, but I agree that there is a time and a place for everything. NeoPets isn't the place for adult humour or jokes. First and foremost, it was started as a family friendly place for people of all ages to come and have fun. There is more than enough places out there in the Net for people to go who want to name things inappropriately and get away with it.
 
I'm not a prude, but I do believe that there are rules in place for a good reason. We are supposed to be a civilized society and as such, we need to act appropriately. NeoPets is a gentle, fun place for people of all ages to play nice with others. (Except, apparently, in the Battledome forum. I found that out the hard way and haven't been back since I was harassed rather brutally.)
 
All that said... I really do believe that TNT should allow for people to be given the chance to change the pet's name to something within the site's guidelines. Simply deleting a pet without a chance to make amends is a bit strong. I think that they do it this way to save time and effort. Not really fair, but there it is.
 
I agree with Sweet D: when in doubt, check it out. Google it before using it and see if there is any way that it could be used inappropriately. If so, try something else instead. Remember where you are and the age groups involved. If you wouldn't say it to a five-year-old, then don't use it at NeoPets.

Sometimes things slip past the filters. An intentional misspelling of something crude, a slang word, etc. While many adults use Neopets, so do many children. It's a clean, kid-friendly site. If I came across someone with pets that were obviously intended to have vulgar names, I would report them as well. That's not what Neopets is for.

I occasionally have slight run-ins with my mother-in-law. They mostly involve our daughter and her eating habits. Toddlers are picky and they often don't cooperate at meal times. Mostly I just stand my ground with these issues and be nice about it. They're always just small issues that I grump about for a bit and then just shrug off.
 
Sometimes when she intrudes on more serious matters I will bring up my feelings to my husband so that he knows where I stand on it. I know it can be hard to bring up things involving your husband's parents but I believe it's best for everyone to be honest with each other. With her meddling in things, you're likely feeling down and bothered by it and your husband should know how you're feeling. If you're having problems bringing up your feelings you could always start with "I know she means well and I love her, but it bothers me when she does this...." Just try and stay calm and let your husband know how you're feeling.
